The linen is nice, but it would have been good to know that this shower curtain only has 11 holes vs. the standard 12. If you're planning on using this alone (not paired with anything else), then no problem. --But since I paired it with a liner, NOW I have a problem! The liner has the standard 12 holes but the curtain has only 11. Something to be aware of!

i bought these because i was a little worried about plastic residue (from previous $1 shower curtains) going back into our water.EWG has a great state by state water contamination site.Also my cat drinks water from the tub....just want to be safe.Wasn't sure how these fabric curtains would hold up to mold and mildew since, it seems, they are meant to go with a plastic liner & have no "waterproofing" added to the fabric.I have had them for some months now (with no plastic liner) and they are holding up just fine.I am a little paranoid about mold so i let them drip dry (ends in the tub) and then air dry outside of the tub.works so far.

For those of you wondering about mold/mildew, the answer is, "yes," these curtains mildew over time.I've had two of them (full claw tub) for 2+ years and after the first year, one of them started acquiring mildew at a rapid pace.I don't use bleach or other harsh chemicals at home, and was unable to clean the black spots with any of the online remedies I found.I am going to try hemp, although I suspect any fiber will grow mildew.

However, they are attractive, just use a liner (EVA if possible, say no to PVC).

I bought this linen curtanin to add class to my very ordinary, small bathroom without spending too much money (I rent). I also wanted to support my vision of a home with a "natural" tone; I have some bamboo and wicker furniture pieces. This curtain did the trick in both areas! I have had this shower curtain for over a month now and I love it. I have not had any problems with mildew. Nor have I washed it yet. After my showers I always spread the curtain out along the bottom to better dry, so I'm sure this helps. I love, love, love how it is a non toxic alternative to those nasty plastic shower curtains that off gas. One person stated that their curtain only had 11 rings. But mine came with the standard 12 ring holes. So maybe it was a fluke. I highly recommend.

Ruffles Shower Curtain

The shower curtain represents excellent value, (even with international delivery costs) with real style (as opposed to the boring plain white plastic curtains found in the UK). Without express delivery it arrived within a week and the seller responded to questions quickly. One thing to add which wasn't in the product description is that it is actually on supposed to be an outer curtain and you should really buy an inner curtain to go with it. That said I've not done this as the Ruffles curtain is waterproof, even if a little transparent without an inner curtain. Overall though, a great product.

This shower curtain is pretty, but I was disappointed in the fabric. It is really sheer and synthetic looking. I even had to get a thicker, solid white liner to go behind it so that you couldn't see into the shower. The ruffles are pretty, but it's not as nice looking as in the photo.

I was looking for a white shower curtain with a flair, and this one is perfect!I needed something sheer, as my shower has no light in it; so I was happy to find out from reading the reviews that it was sheer, and turns out it is perfect for letting enough light into my shower area.I am really enjoying the curtain, every time I use my bathroom, I just enjoy the ruffled look so much!

I'm on the fence about keeping this curtain.I love the ruffles which look shabby chic but hate the sheerness of the fabric.I wasn't sure how sheer this would be....so let me tell you, you can see right thru it and all the other reviews about its sheerness are true.I do have a white Martha Stewart liner behind it which works and prevents you from seeing thru it.I will probably keep it for a year or two while I find one that's 100% cotton with the same look.The ruffles on the picture are accurate but the picture does not show its sheerness, so don't be fooled.

I bought this, thinking that it was a 72" rod that would be screwed to the wall. It fit, but it's just a long expansion rod with screw mountings. There is still a change in diameter at the expansion. There is a plastic insert that keeps the rings moving fairly smoothly over the jump, so we didn't return it.

I don't like the pressure rods because they fall.This rode will not fall when I move the curtains and it is adjustable.

I ordered this towel because it matched beautifully for a bathroom I am redoing when my mother-in-law moves in. The towel is nice, I don't know how well it will hold up to washings but it is a nice towel. What wasn't nice was the fact that it was listed at $12.78 and they covered over a $7.99 price tag. really like the style of this hook. Be aware that the stones are as they would appear naturallythey are a variety of shapes and sizes. Some are closer to 1 1/2 in some closer to 1/2 in in size. Some stones had natural whiter streaks while some were truer to black. Also be aware that because they are actual stones they tend to be heavier than the typical hookbe sure you have a strong rod to hold them. Is great for heavier curtains though! Great concept and a great addition to my bathroom! Subtle but makes a strong statement. Would definitely recommend these.

While this product might look nice it is NOT functional. I've had them for about two week and i have two main issues with them.

1. They don't slide smoothly across my shower rod. which in turn makes it difficult to close or open the curtain.

2. Because they slide so poorly individual hooks keep falling off the rod. so i am them left to constantly re-hook them to the rod. they don't seem to fall through the curtain due to how they are weighted (imagine one falling on your toes in the shower, ouch.

in the end i can't recommend this product. i would have returned them had i not been so eager and tore thrugh the packaging. i have since order new shower curtain hooks.
