It's a shame there are 3 bad reviews for this shower rod.If all 3 reviewers would have taken time to read the description before purchasing, it plainly states you are buying the curtain rod ONLY, thus the low price, hardware sold separately.This is a rod replacement.

Moen for 12 bucks? Oh boy. Plus, I saw that it said "hardware not included" while I was scrolling down to check out if the poor reviews were a deal breaker. Alas...the reviews indicated that few others had read those words; an oversight that resulted in a whole bunch of grief. I had only turned up here in search of two affordable (and curved) curtain rods that I could cut into 23 1/2" pieces for a project...and, as I didn't need the mounting hdwe, I was happy to save a few $$'s. As it turns out, the "6-7 inches of more room" they described just wasn't enough curve for me. Luckily, I was able to add a bit more curve without damaging the finish. That was my only disappointment...that shallow curve (yes.It was in the description, but i"d already seen so many 15-16" curves that I thought it was a standard. My fault)...still, I thought 4 stars was proper. I will admit, however, that I did add the fifth star to help offset the (possibly unfair?) early low scores. So here I go again....please be patient, be thorough with your examination of these items, people (especially you neophyte D.I.Y.er's)...a moment spent reading can save you much anger and grief (you did it like the boss, they'll think).Don't worry...if you read the description thouroghly, you'll find that the "add to cart" button will still be there, your stuff won't get there ten minutes quicker, and it's a whole lot easier for us to love "the less angry you". Now go ahead...as you begin, certain all the needed parts await, you may find that you've really impressed your partner, your kids are staring up at you in awe, friends express admiration at your newfound self confidence, etc. etc. But please remember...if you choose to rate the manufacturers and distributors, you owe it to them, and us, to be as fair as possible. Give 'em all the stars they deserve. No more, no less. You will be making it easier for all who follow to get the best honest deal available.

Unfortunately Amazon is shipping these without the holders.A pain to return--unfortunately the rods are fine and all we really need are the mounts. I don't like the styling of the other Moen rods and the next best choice unfortunately is double the price of this item.Stinks.I might see if I can just order the hardware from Moen before returning--would still be well cheaper than the next-best amazon option...

I really love these curtains.I've got them on every window in my little house.I needed something that was pretty but very durable since I have cats (with claws) that like to sit in the windows.I've went through a number of sets of curtains trying to find something that would work.These have even held up to one cat hanging on them with his front claws.They're more durable than the expensive, but drab, canvas drapes I had resorted to.I put these over white cotton lace panels and I now have cheerful and pretty cat-proof window treatments at last.
