These curtains are wonderful!We live in a very hot area of the world, so we needed window coverings that were light, but able to block out the sun--these are perfect!They are very well made, and can be dressed up or down depending on decor.

I really like the simple design, as well as the colors printed on this shower curtain--there are 2 shades of green on the flowers (a dark kelly green, and a muted lime green) while the rest of the print is in black. However, I have to say that the fabric itself is about the quality of a dollar store bed sheet (I'm thinking it would be generous to call it a 150 thread count). Very light weight, and quite see-through, though the latter trait isn't such a big deal to me. I have lots of natural light in the bathroom, so the black printed areas really light up to show just how tissue-thin it is. Actually, it would make a lovely sheer curtain, if that interests you, but with lots of sun exposure it would likely fade pretty quickly. I figured for the price, and the Perry Ellis brand noted on the packaging (though it's also labeled as City Scene brand elsewhere on Amazon too, which may be a lower-tiered company owned by Perry Ellis--maybe that explains it?), I'd at least get something mid-weight, with a bit of drape to it. This is probably a great quality item (looks good in the package) but I was looking for a gray design, and even after seeing this one on 3 screens (work and home computers and smartphone), I thought it was gray. It's not. It's a substantial tan/khaki brown color with white. Have to return it. Shouldn't it say the color in the listing title, as in some of the other City Scene shower curtains?

I'm very pleased with my purchase, and have had for a couple months. It washed nicely I laid flat to dry. The colors did not fade, and it did not shrink. I wash it once a week (so far about 8 washings).The colors are very true to what shows on my computer screen. It really is that pretty and different than anything I have seen in any store. They are not really thick like a lot of ones you see, which is what I wanted. They are not thin and cheap either. They fit a standard toilet and look very nice in my sea themed room. The only thing I would change is having a bath mat that matches.

This shower curtain is so cheap it looks like dime store material cut and hemmed and called a shower curtain. Putting a sheet up for a shower curtain would be several times better quality than this.The material is terrible and the colors are off too. It is an ugly screen printed purple (slight blue shade) and light tannish reddish plum (baby poop colored).I can't believe they would use such cheap, ugly fabric.

I agree that this Sophia Shower Curtain is pretty.But Laura Ashley has NO right to Call it a Shower Curtain!Yes it has the top holes cut out for the Hooks necessary for the curtains to hook onto the rod, but thats about it.There is No weight to this shower curtain at all, if thats what we can call it!So, every time a door opens or the wind blows through the open window, the shower curtain *dances*, the material is so thin. Instructions say drill a 3/16" hole in tile or drywall and tap in the anchor.After spending $13.00 on a 3/16 diamond bit and spending over a hour drilling 4 holes I discover the anchor will not go into a 3/16"hole.Now I'm stuck with holes that are too small in tile hard as rock.Never again will I even consider a product from Maytex Mills

The only issue I have with this product is that we have a small bathroom and the directions gave measurements on how and where to hang it. Following the suggested measurements the curtain hangs out a bit from the base of the tub therefore sticking out closer to the toilet than we would have liked. Luckily this is a spare bathroom and we can just put the curtain inside the tub when we are not using it. If I could do it over again I would have hung it in about another half inch to an inch more to prevent this problem.

This item was lame, it doesn't freak anyone out and there is nothing spectacular about this rug. It is a complete waste of money. An I thought it turn blood red when you step on it with your feet, but instead this blood colored prints permenitly there. I bought another shower first and it was way too flimsy. This is great in a basement or even garage. Could be used outside for rinsing off and drain the water into your lawn or garden. I really like this shower curtain, but it is not fabric so that was misleading in the description.I'm a little disappointed it's vinyl.
I am into vintage razors as a hobby. I decorated my bathroom in antique barber supplies and this curtain was perfect for that. Has many vintage drawings of razors, brushes, etc.
I purchased this mainly for the chrome color, and the white color and design on the finials.I'm using it more for decorative purposes, it won't get heavy use as a shower curtain and liner rod.It looks good, but when you touch it, the quality seems kind of flimsy.I have hung it up, but have not attached a curtain to it yet, so I can't say whether it's going to stay up tightly, but I hope so.It was not expensive, so if I have to buy something else later, that's what I'll do.It came well packed.At this time I'm giving it 3 "average" stars.

I just got this curtain liner because it is eco-friendly--supposed to be better for me and my family. From the Gaiam website and Amazon I didn't see that this was made of PVC the worst #3 toxic plastic anywhere but in my recently purchased Amazon items list i see the skull with the PVC #3 info next to it. Could you find out what this is really made of? Gaiam customer service is closed til Monday or i'd ask them directly.
If you are wanting to have a seperate liner and curtain or if you are like me and want to have decoration and needing two rods for the bath/shower, then this is a great item.

I purchased this item April 2012, a bit heavy and clunky but hey overall the item appeared to be an attractive and well made looking item. During install I noticed there is no thought to how the set screws actually work. You need to bang the tabs of the receiving end in order to create a reasonably secure install that is flush to the shower jamb. The bracket that supports the outer curtain is not made to be used more than a few times per month. And when it fails the entire 6' bar will crash down and land on a toe or crack / injure a floor or tub. I attempted to repair this item with my own engineering when I noticed the "Chrome" was pitting enough to where it could not be restored properly. Stay home from this overpriced under-engineered gadget. This item will be junk in 6 months.. Spend a little more I guess DO NOT BUY their stuff -ITS JUNK. My toenail is split and looks like a heart. I was looking for a double shower rod and found this one. I ordered the brushed nickel, which matches the bathroom decor. The instructions were easy to follow and made installation quick. I used a stud finder to locate the wall studs, measured according to the instructions, marked off for the brackets, ran the screws and attached the rods. Took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. The rods are study enough to hold the shower curtain, the shower liner and 2 large wet towels. It will probably hold more without any problem. Hint: I turned the lower rod to the inside of the shower. This puts the shower curtainhigher than the shower liner and hides the liner. I wasn't sure about this product due to a couple of reviews. One review said it was bulky, well why would I want a flimsy product. And if it was in reference to the shape, it's a curtain rod in only comes in a few shapes. Any other shape and it would not be a curtain rod. I bought the nickel finished color. It was Ok in that I saw some plastic coating or something on it. I had no problems installing it. If you are handy you can do it. When it was up, it looked great. I am using them in my rental property. I spent a little more for the look and for the purpose of putting an opaque shower liner to hide how old the tubs are and to have something permanently mounted as opposed to the ones you spin to mount and they end up tearing up your wall. I liked them enough to buy for my other rental. So they get a 4 cause I like it. The finish could be a bit better quality.
