Trying to find a high quality L-shaped shower curtain rod, for a decent price, can be somewhat trying.On the net, this is the only one I found that also didn't charge an arm or a leg for shipping.

This curtain rod is substantial.Heavy enough to be of high quality, but not so heavy that it is difficult to hang (or pulls itself down at the bend).However, as they recommend, some kind of ceiling support is recommended.I lasted about 2 weeks before I got worried, and purchased something to support it from the ceiling at the bend This rod will not remain level without it (but if properly angled from the wall, it doesn't totally fall down).

The rod was easy for me to install, because I was replacing an old one that required the same type of wall hardware.If you are installing fresh, it may take a while to find the proper area to properly support from the wall.

All in all, if you don't have an inset tub, and you need an L-shaped rod, I highly recommend this one.

We purchased a 196's home with an glass enclosed shower/bathtub that screamed 80's.Ugh. We're working to restore the home to its 60's mid-century simplicity and the gross hard water stained enclosure had to go.More importantly, we have two smalls kids and giving them a bath in a enclose bath is really hard.So the enclosure was free-cycled and then we were stuck on finding an L-shaped rod that would fit.Nothing was stocked in our local home improvement stores and the online the prices were ridiculously high.Thanks to Amazon we came across this utilitarian piece.This item (while not the greatest looking, think shiny hospital bathroom chrome) fit the bill in doing what we needed it to do.

Pros:

It arrived quickly, was packaged well, and went up in about an hour.

The rod is easily cut to adjust to your length.

Cons-

NO instructions included. Dinged one star because of that it was idiot proof but some instructions, even the Ikea picture variety, would have been nice.

Additionally, I would highly recommend ordering the hanging ceiling flange to reinforce the rod's corner support. We tested it without it & thankfully we'd ordered it, since it was a little wobbly without it.Once installed the ceiling piece was just the extra support the rod needed to make feel a bit more secure.

Overall, works as described. Simple and well priced for its purposes. Recommended.

the printed color is actually a khaki color. Material is thinfor $8 more you can purchase a nicer shower curtain from West Elm.I returned it.

The product is really a lot more brown/off white color than the gray/white color in picture. I have read other reviews about the color before I bought it but I still decided to buy. The fabric quality is okay, not too thin, but could be better for the price. When I first put it up we didn't like it too much but after a while we have grown to like it.

I was looking for a simple shower curtain with a neutral color scheme. The curtain is a light and airy cotton with tan/khaki trees. The trees do appear to take up more of the curtain than the ones pictured, but that doesn't really bother me. The one thing I don't like is the fact that the trunks of the trees are a bit wavy, but overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

The material, and size and design on this shower curtain were great. It looked much more gray on the computer, but when it arrived it was a sandy gray/browncolor and we had to return it.

Very nice shower curtain, just what i wanted.Keep in mind this is 100% cotton and does not resit water at all.Also like someone else posted, the tree shadows do reach the whole way to the top.Does not by any means look bad, but not the same as the photo.

Includes magnets at the bottom that are just the right weight. It is a nice way to avoid having to buy a liner AND a curtain, since the color is nice.

This shower curtain liner is very thin.It's ok for the guest bathroom which does not get much use.I imagine I will need to replace this liner much sooner than I would like.

Levolor A7004213353 48-86 Oval Tension Rod

I bought this hoping it would be decent despite it's low price.Unfortunately, this tension rod has NO tension to it. It wouldn't even stay in place without a curtain on it.It was absolutely pathetic, and a waste of my money.I wanted to send it back for a refund, but with shipping charges it just wasn't worth it since the product was $10.00. The charges to have it shipped to me were almost the same amount as the product, which is also ridiculous.I won't buy from this company again.Clearly their products are sub-par.

I have been trying to return this item since I purchsed it. Initially the tension contact was missing a wall cap. I contacted them, but could wait no more for a new rod. I had to buy another. When the replacement wallcap came inI tried to return. NO response to date. Its still wrapped in my garage.

These rods are really thin.They bow in the middle when you hang anything from them.I have sheers I wanted to hang from a window that I couldn't fit a regular rod on.These seemed like the best alternative for my windows.It was just for my kitchen so I wasn't too worried about anything super fancy.For a rod that goes up to 86", you would think that it would have a better support system, but it does not.I am actually going to have to take it down and try something else because it has left my windows looking even worse than it did without curtains.The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because the shipper was very quick on getting them to me.But as always, you get what you pay for.

InterDesign Fabric Waterproof Shower Curtain Liner

We have an old bearclaw bathtub so we need two shower curtains, one for each side of the tub. We bought one Croscill Fabric Shower Curtain/Liner, and one InterDesign Fabric Waterproof Shower Curtain. They are both 100% polyester, but could not be more different. Croscill is probably twice as thick, actually feels like fabric, and has metal grommets for the shower curtain hooks. InterDesign feels almost like it's vinyl, not fabric. It feels very thin, and has reinforced seams for the holes for shower hooks. It's not waterproof the outside face is damp to the touch after we shower, whereas the Croscill one is moderately dry.

Both of them are fabric, so a bit of moisture does get through. But, the amount of seepage not enough to get anything else wet unless it's actually touching the fabric. The seepage is notably greater for the InterDesign version but not a concern for us because the curtain is not touching anything. We have very low-flow shower heads, so it may be worse for others.We've had them for two months, and this one is already growing mold. The Croscill is not.We haven't tried washing them yet, but this model is clearly inferior to the Croscill.

Finally, a truly waterproof, non-vinyl shower liner.I'm very pleased with the product: nice quality (could easily be used as a shower curtain), many colors available, and the price is right.My only complaint is that it was slow to ship (2+ weeks), compared with most other products from Amazon which ship very fast.

This makes you wonder why we put up with those cheesy plastic shower curtains.It works fine.I have not washed it yet, but looking at the construction it looks like it will hold up to years of use and occasional laundering.It's seems durable and therefor more sustainable than normal plastic curtains.

This is a nice alternative to plastic liners, except that there really isn't any weight on the hem.The "weight" is more like a thicker strip of fabric, so it doesn't stay in place while the water's running and instead flies all over the place.Not exactly effective.

I really like that this is made of cloth, it is very thin so I'm a little worried about ripping, but I'll take that over the plastic stench any day.Also, the wrinkles from the packaging came right out, no washing required. The little ceramic hooks are painted pretty cheap, I probably could have done a better job, but they are super cute and easy to use.
