These shower curtains are great. Perfect for a tub shower situation where thin shower curtains often stick to you. They are thick, resilient and have yet to mildew on me! I'm very happy with this product.
It is THICK and doesn't tear easily like the cheap liners you find at most discount stores. The metal reinforcers are a nice touch. The only thing that bugged me was a strong chemical smell that lingered for about 3-4 days. It did fade and there is no problem any more.

I wanted a heavy duty shower curtain liner and was tired of buying ones that didn't last long. This shower curtain liner is strong and heavy. It has lasted longer than other shower curtain liners I have had but I still get mildew buildup just the same amount as the cheaper ones in the stores. I don't think it is mildew resistant.

So it is a very cute gift overall. Quality metal, nice color that fit my room furniture and can carry enough weight. My only issues are that the hanger itself is a bit too think to my gap-less closet door and sometimes the hooks don't grab the clothes very well and it slips.

This is overall a quality item. It looks great, gives plenty of extra room and is fairly well made. HOWEVER. Installation is a chore. Like other reviewers have stated, be sure you have another set of hands to help out! The rod wobbles & will twist, turn until you have it securely attached.The included hardware (6 sheetrock screws!) are really awful. Of the 6, THREE were stripped out entirely.
Since one side of the rod was being installed directly into hardwood, we had to locate some screws that would work for that.
Once it is installed, the sheetrock screws really aren't that snug, so the rod does still have some wobble on that side.
Bottom lineit's a good piece, but be sure you have extra help AND the appropriate screws before starting! If you're installing into tile, wood or anything other than sheetrock, you WILL NEED to find the right hardware.

I bought a single rod of the same brand locally, then decided I wanted to go double rod.This was the same price as the single rod at HD.Some seem to have mounting problems.I used the included hardware and it all worked just fine.It has been up about 8 months so far and still looks new.I did use the stainless ball bearing roller type rings to cut down on rod wear.I'd buy another in a heart beat.Be careful of the templates when mounting.Don't just look at the template and drill holes.Look at the template, then hold the rod up and make sure you have it correct.One hole at one side, two at the other, and you'll be ok.Templates make you want to drill one end backwards.

I install onto dry wall and was a bit more difficult then I expected. The set includes drywall insertions but I wished I placed additional support. tip: A two person job where while installing the bar itself have one person hold one end COMPLETELY flush to the wall while the other person screws in the other side. Knowing this would have saved me 30 minutes of frustration.

I got the Avanti shower curtain and it's quite nice (expensive too). The matching shower hooks on the other hand are cheap. Right away one of the decorative squares came off the hook, fell and broke. A month later, another one came off, but I was able to super-glue it back on. The hooks are sharp on the end and they don't slide along the curtain rod very well. Wish I'd purchased a different set of hooks. Oh well, they look nice in any case....

I have four of these and love them.I do not use two curtains -just this one).I actually ironed the pleats in so it hangs like a drape and when not using can be pushed back against the wall on the ouside of the tub -very attractive.I've gotten so many comments on it.The ironed pleats have remained after many washings (cold water, bleach, hang to dry).The package said not to bleach but I use bleach every time I wash it (every few weeks).You will not be disappointed.

This looked so beautiful when I put it up, I was so excited, but the holes at the top started rusting within a week, which of course ran down onto the white shower curtain. My mother bought an identical one at Wal-Mart, which she had no rust problems with. I looked up close and hers seemed to be "closed in" around the holes & mine was exposed on the back side, which allowed the water in to create the rust. I suspect this is a defective group, as both curtains I purchased here did this.

this thing does not repel water at all, i might as well of put a bed sheet up there. my external curtain gets soaked. i'm buying another liner right now. i should have known better when it was so cheap. the positive reviews astound me.

We have an old bearclaw bathtub so we need two shower curtains, one for each side of the tub. We bought one Croscill Fabric Shower Curtain/Liner, and one InterDesign Fabric Waterproof Shower Curtain. They are both 100% polyester, but could not be more different. Croscill is probably twice as thick, actually feels like fabric, and has metal grommets for the shower curtain hooks. InterDesign feels almost like it's vinyl, not fabric. It feels very thin, and has reinforced seams for the holes for shower hooks.It's not waterproof the outside face is damp to the touch after we shower, whereas the Croscill one is moderately dry.
Both of them are fabric, so a bit of moisture does get through. But, the amount of seepage not enough to get anything else wet unless it's actually touching the fabric. The seepage is notably greater for the InterDesign version but not a concern for us because the curtain is not touching anything. We have very low-flow shower heads, so it may be worse for others.
We've had these for two months, and the InterDesign is already growing mold, while the Croscill is not.We haven't yet washed them so I can't rate their ability to withstand washing, or rust around the grommets (for the Croscill). Hence, I have given it 4 stars pending those tests. But, so far if I were to buy these over, I would definitely buy two Croscills and avoid the InterDesign.
