I bought these for a slider that is right next to my neighbors door. I wanted something that would provide some privacy but not restrict the light. These work great! I'm including a video that I hope I can get to upload this time (second attempt). It might be a little stupid to video something that costs so little but I am so pleased with the purchase and they are so cute that I had to share. Just bought two more sets for another window!
Keep in mind that these curtains are absurdly cheap, cheaper than the cheapest Wal-mart has to offer. They look beautiful and expensive, like delicate old-fashioned cotton lace, unless you get right on top of them and examine very closely. If you do that, you will see that there are some threads hanging and that they are a bit flimsy. But unless your guests examine them with a magnifying glass, they'll pass muster quite well (and, if they do, I suggest you keep the curtains and get better guests).
I've washed them a half dozen times, by hand, and there has been no deterioration at all. I wouldn't recommend putting them in the washing machine except on the delicate cycle and inside one of those bags that are made for washing delicate lingerie. They dry very quickly I just hang them up damp and let the air dry them. These are the prettiest and classiest curtains, for the price, that you could possibly imagine. If you want your windows to look lovely and airy and pretty but don't have a huge budget, you can't do better than these. They'll last indefinitely if you handle with care.

I ordered this set of two jacquard sheer lace curtain panels in white for my bath.In order to get more light while in the shower, I use a crystal clear liner on one white tension rod, and slip these on a second white tension rod in front of the liner.These panels are long enough to go from ceiling to floor, and even "puddle" a little on the floor very elegant.Since they're lace, they allow a lot of light into the tub area, but still afford some privacy, and they allow for good air circulation, as well.My walls are painted a peachy-beige, and the woodwork and everything else is white.The design on these panels is just beautiful, but subtle, and they make the entire room so fresh and inviting.Also, these panels are soooo soft, with scalloped sides and straight-hemmed tops and bottoms, and have a lot of body without being stiff. I am very picky, little things bug me and I got themon sale for 11 bucks on Amazon so I wondered how they would be especially since they had some bad reviews. Some say "they will not hold up" ok... I really dont hang on my curtains or mess with them. Does anyone else? I put them on and leave them. So as far as holding up my heck... that means nothing to me. So if you mess with your curtains a lot I would say yes they will hold up great. Everything was perfect on them. Nice finished edges ect. ect. I love them, I ordered them on Friday and they were here on Monday. very fast! they look so cute in my daughters "shabby chic" bedroom. Very feminine:)
