InterDesign Forma Tension Shower Rod, Brushed Stainless Steel, 25-43-Inch

I'd been looking for a metal tension rod for a long time, to replace my plastic rod which looked terrible. The area I needed the tension rod for is only 41 1/2" and very difficult to find a tension rod that small. When I saw this, I thought I'd buy one quickly before they were gone.

It arrived yesterday and I was excited to hang my new shower curtain. I twisted one end to make it longer, but nothing happened. Finally I tried pulling it, that worked but there was no tension, the rod kept falling down. The only way to keep it up, was nestle it on top of the tile border, but I wasn't very happy with that.

I later noticed the instructions! It said you have to pull the rod to an inch longer than needed. Then you twist the rod clockwise until it tightened, it seemed to be taking a long time, but it finally did. Now the rod has tension, and I'm happy because it's staying up!

I'm happy with the appearance too, it's much better looking than the plastic rod. The ends gripped the tiles firmly, once I got the rod perfectly straight. I'm glad I found this rod, it has solved one problem in my house. It wasn't very expensive, but doesn't look cheap. It matches the shower head and the bathroom taps etc. I'll post a picture. Unfortunately the picture didn't come out straight, but I couldn't fix that!

Purchased this in February after I called InterDesign first to make sure this was real stainless steel grade 304 and was told it was and it wouldn't rust. Well, 4 months later it's rusting just like the same junk from the other mass retailers. They offered to send me another, but what's the point. They asked me if my bathroom was ventilated because if it's not they may rust. What the heck does that mean in a shower? Maybe if I dried it off after every use it would last longer. My Delta Stainless faucet, towel bars, and robe hooks, in the same bathroom, aren't rusting. My stainless steel pool railings and ladder haven't rusted at all after 10 years of harsh chemicals and rain. Cheap Chinese imports yet again. I'd pay $50 if I could find one that would never need replacing.

This was a piece of junk, DO NOT waste your money, had to immediately order something else....spring inside never engaged thus no tension thus just slides down......worthless....

As stated in the description, this is not a normal tension rod!Very high quality,Once you set it, you can barely move it.Best tension rod I have ever purchased or used.I recently bought another type, and wish I had seen this first, although it was a new Amazon product when I found it.Would buy again if I had a need, and would recommend to anyone else.

It is very hard to find a shower tension rod that will work when one's width is only about 32 inches.This tension rod was perfect.It is sturdy and required little effort to install.I would recommend it and also state that for a shower rod it was nice to look at as well.

This was worth getting.

I really like it, it went perfect in my bathroom, the colors were just right, Im one of these people that change my shower curtain often, but have gone back to this one for now.

Pros: It's what I was looking

for.

Cons: It is a little bit flimsy, I wish the holes would come reinforced with grommets. Sure it would have been more expensive but for me it would have been worth it.

No complains about the delivery and packaging.

Hookless Escape Built in Peva liner Fabric Shower Curtain, White/Brown

I bought this and my wife gave me such grief. But after a week she admitted that she likes it, the interior flap has stayed white after 2 months of use. I just wish they sold this product in stores near me. Definitively a cleaner look than a full size interior piece of plastic that makes you feel like your in the movie "Psycho". The mesh screen at head level allows the tube area to release humidity keeping mold growth to a minimum.

I travel frequently and see these in various hotels from time to time, so I assume its a quality product that hotels would purchase for durability. The "hookless" feature makes for a quieter operation in my opinion, plus you dont have to worry about hooks falling out (which they do).

Some reviewers posted about the quality and/or the hookless part itself. Its a hard plastic sewn into the fabric. Guess what? Plastic doesn't rust. Unless you are supporting yourself on this curtain, its a non-issue.

Another feature I like is the liner. It snaps BELOW the window/see-thru section, so it doesn't go all the way to the top where it isn't needed anyway.

I LOVE the hook-less feature and the translucent section at the top.If you have been aggravated by your hooks getting caught up or unhooked where the 2 rod sections come together (creating a lip), this is for you.The only possible drawback is the super lightweight liner.It still does the job but some may find that the low pressure created by the shower water causes it to move inward (towards your body) but I discovered once it's a little wet it sticks to the tub wall and works as well as heavier material.At first I didn't like this mostly because I was used to the heavier vinyl and it felt cheap but after a few showers I got trained and I will never buy anything else.I didn't know Hook-less curtains existed before I discovered them in a hotel. Minus 1 star for some who don't like change but 5 stars for me!The snap-on liner is washable but I haven't experienced any scumb or need to wash it yet.

It is nice looking but absolutely nothing like the picture! I liked the white, ivory and blueish color in it but it had none of them all it had was 4 large stripes of the brown and 4 stripes of the beige... which will not work with my bathroom.

The order and delivery of the product were handled very conveniently. However when we tried to install the material was so thin that the fabric tore and therefore was not usable.

Very fast shipping.We have a stall shower that is wider than most.Add to that, we put in one of those curved shower rods for extra space, and we were having a heck of a time finding something wide and long enough.This was PLENTY long.I actually trimmed about 3 inches off the bottom.It says heavy gauge, I'd say more like medium (at best).It's not a huge deal breaker, but that is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a perfect size curtain for me.I have a shower rod installed high and have attached a standard 80" curtain on the outside of the tub while using this 72x78vinyl shower curtain to hang on inside of the tub.

The last time I bought a shower curtain liner at Beds & Beyond it cost me in the $30 range. This one was half the price and I received it in a couple of days. Can't ask for anything else!

The liner is not super high quality but excellent for the price.

I wanted something that would a) let light in but b) give privacy if someone else comes in and uses the bathroom.I found it really difficult to find something with both of these characteristics, in physical stores.

Update 3/2013:

Note that it DOES get mildewy if you don't scrub it clean relatively frequently. Threw it out and got the Maytex No More Mildew Shower Curtain Liner, Frosty 2 months and no mildew at all! Even if it lets in less light than this one.

Nylon Butterfly Curtain Tieback - Green Isabella (Sold Individually)

The pictures don't do them justice. These are beautiful, and will fit right in the with the bedroom design. I wish they came in a two pack. But that would be my only complaint.

It is very pretty but not what I wanted but I will just put it up somewhere it was always show. Would be wonderful in a child's room. I think I will find a place in my bathroom.

this curtain looks much better in person,using it in a 2nd fl bathroom and this is probably a good thing as i'd prefer a darker curtain for a 1st fl bathroom, this isnt sheer but you can see the light through it and maybe a shadow if someone is right in front of the curtain. will buy another once we redecorate other bathrooms.
