Famous Home Fashions Shadow Leaf Shower Curtain
This is a much better looking curtain than the picture shows.It has a light shimmer to it and the pattern is subtle.
Just received this for my front bath makeover. It's a thin, silky sort of fabric that is quite sheer. The print is nice, with brown, tan, and green as the primary colors. The overall effect is very muted. The only thing that is not as expected is that it is a bit darker than the photo shows. I was expecting a much lighter ecru background, but the background to me is a true "tan" color. I will take pictures when I get the room painted and such.

Wonderful idea this duo shower curtain rod. Now I have an extra towel bar in my both my baths. Even had to get one for my mother. They are easy to install and are really nice looking. This product is exactly what I needed! I can have my cake and eat it too! I'm able to keep my spare bathroom looking nice for guests and able to hang a used, wet towel discreeetly in that bathroom at the same time. It's extremely durable. It is correct that the tension does not release which was pretty obvious when setting it up and would be expected when you are mounting it to the wall vs normal curtain rods that release tension. I consider that to be a huge plus because now I don't have to worry about the curtain falling or water stains & grime to clean inside the shower. I like this shower rod very much however because of how the bars are you have to put it in a certain way. One of our walls was short/cut off so we had to have the shower rod where you end up touching the shower curtain when you shower. We didn't think about the wall situation when purchasing. Otherwise this is really nice. And make sure you read the directions about extending the bar before you put it up!!!!

Updated 11/19/10:Downgrading again a star, from 3 to 2.Between the mildew, letting the water through, and the off-putting translucence, I've kind of grown to hate these curtains.We're having guests for Thanksgiving and the thought of asking them to deal with these pushed me over the edge.I've tossed them and found much better-looking replacements at my local superstore-of-choice.

It's been over a month and I'm updating this review from 4 stars to 3.
It's turning out that one shower curtain is not sufficient to keep water inside the tub I wouldn't call it a flood of water outside the tub, but it is a lot like rain coming through window screens.This isn't an issue with a doubled-up curtain, and it's not bad if the curtain isn't stretched flat, but that's more than I'd want to think about with a shower curtain.
There's also the beginnings of some mildew along the bottom of the curtain where it tends to stick to the wet tub so doesn't dry out quickly.
Again, since I'm using these mostly doubled-up as shower curtains, I'm not having too many problems, but I'll probably be looking for a different curtain when it's time to replace these, and I'd think twice if I was intending to use these as curtain liners.

I use these liners alone for my clawfoot tub, whose tap and shower head are located on the short end of the tub.There's an overlap of two liners on the half of the tub closest to the showerhead, except for a six-inch area behind the shower pipe that is only one liner thick; there's no overlap at the far side of the tub, where the coverage is also only one liner thick.
I've been using these for about two weeks now.
Water repellent water beads on these curtains, and I haven't had any problems with them allowing water through while showering.I don't know how these would do if you aimed the shower head at them directly, but they stand up to regular usage just fine.
Bottoms are not weighted, but I haven't had any problems.My last curtains were fabric weighted with plastic strips threaded into the bottom hem, and these act exactly the same in terms of billowing inwards during showers that is, sometimes they do it, but most of the time they don't.
Fabric is more sheer than I expected and you can see fairly clearly into the shower area if light is coming from that side of the curtain.Not a problem for me, but if you have a lighted shower area and you're expecting these curtains to give you privacy or to hide a lot of toiletry clutter, you're going to be disappointed.If your shower is unlighted, you'll be fine, if possibly slightly unnerved by how much you can see out while you're showering.
The washing instructions state no bleach, which I'm not that thrilled about, but I'm willing to give it a try to see if that extends the life of the anti-mildew treatement.
I haven't had these long, so I have no idea of how the water repellent or anti-mildew treatments will stand up to washing, or how effective the anti-mildew treatment will be.I'll post a follow-up in the future.The verdict for now, though, is that I'd recommend & buy these curtains again.

This is a heavy duty stall liner,fits like a glove.It is clear so that our light can shine though,which is nice beacuse our basement shower is a little dark.This is easy to clean, wash with soap and water (by hand).The eyelets are heavy as well,can hold up to my husbands rough handling.Will buy a few more, just to have on hand.It is nice not to have a liner that clings to you while you try to wash your self.Tammy
This is a decent liner.It's stiff and it has that free-monomer stink of cheap vinyl at first, but hang it up and air it out, and it will give good service.

Put this in the bathroom and after about an hour I had to move the curtain to the deck outside.It stinks and needs a few days outside to let the vinyl off gas. My advice to future buyers is to open it up outside and leave it in a garage or some other exterior location.Save 4% Off

Ok, I live in the Pacific NW, and mold/mildew are HUGE problems in any bathroom. I bought this shower curtain with high hopes, and have not beem let down. I had to buy 2 because I have an old clawfoot bathtub, and they have both held up fabulously. 6 months later and they still look like new. Absolutely worth the money and I would buy again in a heart beat.

I was so sick and tired of cheap, thin liners that didn't last any time at all until they would rip and fall apart....and these were the so called "premium" liners! I have to admit that the only reason I bought these towels was that I wanted Burgundy towels to change my bathroom for Christmas.I really didn't care abut the quality because I was only going to use them for about a month.What a surprise when I received the towels I couldn't believe how soft they were.I read other reviews that said they washed terribly and left a lot of lint and pills.I washed mine and found done of that they came out beautifully and were just as soft.I will definitely be buying another set in Amethyst.I received 2 sets of these towels 5 years ago.They have not lost their color and are wonderfully fluffy and work very well for quick drying out of the shower. I do have a confession, my brother is the CEO of the California cotton cooperative that grows the cotton for these towels, so not only are you getting a great product, you are buying American grown cotton.
