Hookless Mosaic Vision Peva Shower Curtain, Jade
Previously entitled: "Smells plasticky; makes me wonder if it's really PEVA?"Just got the shower curtain today and put it up right away. On the plus side, it was wonderful to get rid of our shower hooks. (No more rust and no more painful hand and wrist maneuvers to open and close them. Hallelujah!)That is a huge plus. Another plus is that it is plenty thick to be durable. It is much thicker than the PEVA liners we had previously been using and it is light enough to not pull the rod down. There is a window that lets light in, but yet is frosted so one cannot see through it--either into the shower or out of it. It was very easy to put up on our tension rod and the length is adequate.
The negatives are only a couple, but very significant in regards to what one is looking for when buying PEVA. First, it smelled bad: plasticky and similar to PVC, but not quite as strong. It is manufactured in China where often products are not made to USA standards, are made with violations of safety standards, and may be different from how they are labeled. I am hoping it is very minimal and that the odor will dissipate after a few days since I've already disposed of our shower hooks. Note, that we've been buying PEVA shower curtains and/or liners for a few years now and have never experienced this smell before. We've had about 7 different ones to date. The second complaint is that the colors are quite different from those pictured along with the item description. The dominant color is more blue than jade or green. It is a mosaic of 2"x2" squares with 1/4" spaces of frosted clear between them. The true colors are more steel blue, baby blue, a very light powder blue, and then slightly darker than a lime green. There is nothing I would call jade.
UPDATE:The plasticky smell dissipated after a few hours. I now think it was likely from the packaging, which probably was PVC and, thus, off-gassing chloride gas. The shower curtain itself no longer has an odor. I now have moved my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. We've also had a chance to use it for several showers. It works very well with no leakage. A liner is not necessary as it is waterproof. Light also enters into the shower from the large loop holes for attaching to the rod without removing the rod. Another answer to my earlier criticisms is that Hookless makes another shower curtain called "Mosaic" without the preface of "Jade." If you open the following link you'll see true pictures of what the curtain I received looks like. I did order the Jade one, but as you can see from these photos it really isn't jade at all: Hookless Peva 71-Inch by 74-Inch Shower Curtain, Mosaic Note that it is a lower price if you order through the link being reviewed--the Jade one.
A minor negative to add is that the curtain gets slightly stuck on our metal tension rod. It is easily remedied by a gentle tug. The movement of opening and closing the curtain is not 100% smooth. I'd estimate 85% smooth as the stuckness is only slight and fixed on first try.

These hookless shower curtains are great. They are easy to install and they make you feel like you are showering in a hotel. I replace them at least twice a year and at this price I think I will replace them more often. I was led to believe that "clear vinyl window" in the description meant the upper middle portion where the mosaic design is not was "clear"....it is FROSTED and if someone were to approach while I was showering I would see a "shadowy figure" as opposed to a clear image..I was slightly disappointed but I do like the shower curtain overall.Time will tell how durable the "flex-on rings" are.Want Hookless Mosaic Vision Peva Shower Curtain, Jade Discount?

Creative Bath Breezy Point Bath Decor
I really wasn't happy with this rug. I order the whole set from fingerhut and wanted another rug, but fingerhut was sold out. So I ordered through Amazon from bedandbath. It was like it was a counterfeit.The color was faded in the center and the borders. It was like a cheap imitation.I have even washed the one I got from fingerhut a couple of times, and it still looks better than the one I got from bed & bath. Oh well live and learn I didn't bother to contact bed and bath. I figured if they want to send out stuff like that to begin with, I just won't purchase anything else from them. I wished I could send pics of the two rugs there is no comparison. The old looks new (fingerhut) and the new looks old and faded (bed and bath). Maybe I should have gave bed and bath a chance to correct this, but I didn't want all the hassle of sending it back, putting it back in the box, finding the tape, looking for the address,(always different from the address on the box) maybe even have to call customer service,(possibly having to wait to speak to them, while listening to elevator music, driving to the post office, and then wait for them to send me another one, really didn't appeal to me for just a 20.00 dollar rug. Maybe companies know this about some people who won't bother with it. (like me) So I just figure I will remember my experience, and the next time I order which isn't to far away, I like to change my bathroom with the different seasons.My next order won't be with bed and bath.

To some the picture may look like white dispenser with shells on it but it is actually a very very light blue or you could say white with bluish tint.The dispensing is more powerful than most. You may like this but I often find with one push I over shoot my hand or squirt soap onto mirror. If you are going to use it often you will adjust and all will probably be ok, but if for guest room or a bathroom you don't use often you most likely will waste soap and have messes to clean up. It may actually be a good aspect for someone who wants large doses dispensed or needs longer distance squirts.
It is solid and nice looking.

This shower curtain is not only good quality, but affordable.This was both!And cute too!It's very thick, so it doesn't seem like it's going to rip like cheap ones do.The holes are reinforced with rivets.So far no problems.
How much is there to say?It's plastic, transparent and covered with fish.Clear plastic shows water stains, but between fish pattern, folding of the curtain and the water droplets, nothing intrusive.Besides, really, how often do you look at your shower curtain from a distance, or seek higher artistique meaning?

It's a decent product, I was skeptical when it arrived but on closer inspection it good.The uneven matt finish actually makes it look pretty good (compared to the smooth finish one I saw at KMart identical otherwise). The side glass is a bit of eyesore. the Quality overall is good, but for 22 bucks I think it's pricey (afterall it's made of wood and made in china!).

I'm really happy with this shower curtain.Quality is quite good with the colors appearing just as shown.Size is right for standard bath openings.I REALLY love the fact that I don't have to have to use a vinyl liner with it as it does a fine job of keeping the water corralled during showers.It's machine washable too.

These towels are not nearly as substantial as they appear in the picture. They are so thin that two wipes of a wet body getting out of a shower and they are saturated. The purpose of bath towels is to dry off wet bodies, right?These aren't up to the task. You know how flimsy old towels get after going through the washer-dryer several dozen times? That's what these remind me of. I do like the look (hence the second star), especially with the matching shower curtain and bath rug. I amdisappointed because they were not made by Native Americans as I had thought and made in of all places China. I am pondering as to if I will return them.Why can't you purchase from our Native Americans? If it cost a little more it would be preferred to this. I am ashamed that Amazon with all of its marking expertise that Amazon cannot at least inform the consumer that these items are not authenic.The other related items I have ordered are also suspect and while this is less than a plug nickle to your bottom line I think that this should be noted on the social media as a black eye to Amazon.

Okay, I expected more.. so I guess that was the let down. I really was expecting better quality but it's just a clear set with stickers on it... I got it in memory of my dad (america's biggest cub fan) so it serves the purpose.. and when I put it all together with the bathroom rugs and decorations it really looks nice for my boys..
