For the price, these cafe curtains are stylish and add a nice touch to a modern decor. Machine washable as well. Polyester but still nice. I had such a difficult time finding modern looking cafe curtains online and in stores. They all seem to be geared to country & quaint style decor. I have large windows in NYC and enjoy having some sunlight coming in, so was not interested in full length curtains. They do however give me some privacy against the neighbors windows that face my building across the courtyard. They arrived quickly as well, within 2 days. All in all, a good purchase.
The fabric is interesting the white and gray parts are woven differently so have different texture, as well as different color.Each stripe is 4" wide.The gray sections are bordered with a 1/4" wide darker black edge.

I have to disagree with the person who described the curtain as stiff.I find it less stiff than the vinyl curtain it replaced, since it doesn't hold pleats the way a vinyl curtain does.This probably does make it hang funny if you try to pull it to one end of the tub; it won't "fold up" neatly.I like the fact that it doesn't hold pleats, though, because it does a better job of staying where I put it when I'm in the shower.It doesn't pull away from the wall and leave openings for water to get out.(My tub is a little longer than usual, and I need all of curtain's length.)
I wanted a shower curtain that would let in more light, so I could actually see my legs when shaving them. But I didn't want an entirely clear curtain, I wanted one with some sort of design or texture. But not too goofy, trite or frou-frou no country roses, rubber duckies or seashells, please. This pattern was perfect a bit architectural and has visual interest. It is very smooth and shiny, not like most PEVA curtains I've had (usually they are frosted and matte). It is also much less flimsier than other PEVA curtains I've owned. It did not smell at all out of the package, another plus. I'm not sure it is worth $25, but I can tell you that is nicer quality than other PEVA shower curtains on the market. When you are standing inside your shower, the cube design makes for great, trippy visual effects. It has held up really well with my toddler, who will often tug on the shower curtain when he's taking a bath. I recommend, just wish it was a little cheaper.

Hello,This is my first review.I have been buying stuff from amazon since it began.I decided to review because I only 'groked" the problem when I hung the Cubitz shower curtain...the good news is that the curtain is not made of PVC so you do not have those fumes or those other vapors reminiscent of formaldehyde.The bad news is that the Cubitz shower curtain is so light that due to aerodynamic principles I only have a nodding acquaintance with - once the shower has been turned on and the surrounding air begins to move - the shower curtain tries to wrap itself around you, gets in the way and makes you want to rip it down and scream.Oh, my, no.Instead, I have removed it and put it in the guest shower ensuring transient aggravation.

I like this shower curtain...no chemical smells.Its so pretty in my bathroom.It lets in the light.The pattern is really cool.The only problem is you do have to keep it clean b/c the soap scum is more visible.Want Maytex Cubitz PEVA Shower Curtain, Clear Discount?
I don't have a light right over my shower so I like having a clear shower curtain. Also lets me know if Psycho is sneaking up on me, amiright? This is nice feeling material, hangs nicely and doesn't blow in on me, the cube design is cool. Only thing I don't know yet is how well it will stand up to repeated cleaning. The inner surface is VERY slick and smooth, so it shouldn't hold gunk too badly, but we shall see!

This is the first shower caddy that we have had that actually doesn't rust (except the cheap plastic ones). We had purchased a ~$90 one that had a lifetime rust-free warranty and still rusted after about 2 months. We have had this bronze caddy for ~6 months now and it has been great no rust, looks great, and functions nicely. I just bought 2 more for the other bathrooms.

Contrary to another review, this item comes out of the package looking identical in color and texture to the picture.The design on it is exactly as shown in the picture.I almost did not order it due to the color being off comment, but i find it's a perfect match.As for it not having a sheen, the description says it's 100% cotton, not cotton sateen.Cotton will not have a sheen, and usually is not sheer either.I recommend this product to be 100% accurate by the picture and description listed.
I bought the bedspread and wanted to use these shower curtains as drapes.Both products look very nice together, but the shower curtains are a little short to use as drapes.Wish the company would make matching drapes with the bedspread.Or at least give the length in the description.

I absolutely loved this shower curtain before I ordered it! But when I recieved it the color is totally off! It is a really light blue, and it doesn't have a sheer, shiny like look to it either like the picture. Also, it seems the branch design goes up higher then the pic! Overall I was not pleased at all!

As someone already noted, the picture can be a little deceiving. Though the color is still black, it doesn't have a sheer, shiny look at all.. In fact, it looks like regular cloth. Additionally, I was under the impression that the leaves were supposed to be silver, but they're white. That said, the curtain still looks okay. The quality of this shower curtain is exceptional and it looks fantastic with black bathroom rugs and some accessories. I am very happy with it and reccomend it for anyone looking for a change from the usual bland old bathroom colors!

Normally I shy away from buying products with no reviews, but I took a chance with this one and I'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as pictured and it makes a nice addition to my bathroom. I first used it without a liner and it was fine, but I prefer to double up. It works great and I have no complaints, but it would have been an added bonus if they added a little magnet in the corner like my old shower curtain had. No worries though, it still works fine without it.

We bought two curved shower rods.The first was by Hotel. We picked it up locally.The parts for that rod were poorly machined and the holes for the screwed didn't line up.We returned it.We looked at the the Moen curtain rod.The mounts were plastic. So much for a more premium brand. Finally, we found this one; all the parts are metal, every thing was machined correctly and it was a quick and easy install.We are very happy with it.I installed the mounts two inches further back that the manufacturer suggests in the instructions.I mention this because I wanted the ends of the curtain against the wall, a bit further inside to prevent any splash.It worked like a charm.

I have had this for a few years now. It has never moved from the spot where I placed it; i.e.; it does wiggle around on its ends. Very glad that I bought it. It is just now starting to show some rust after 3yrs in the Florida climate. Not bad!

Installation: It was very simple, basically install 2 brackets,adjust the rod to the correct size of your shower, and tighten down the bolts to hold the rod in the bracket and you are done. Took about 5 minutes to install with a powered drill.

First, the color was not what I expected. Being a guy, I thought linen would be more of an off-white, cream color. There are no color samples labeled linen. I guess that is my fault for assuming. Second, the feel of the fabric is very plastic. I have had others that were mildew resistant that felt like real fabric. Third, one button hole was not cut. I had to carefully make a slit myself. Further thought: I was hoping that the button holes would be a bit bigger so that I could quickly slip the curtain over the hooks, but I had to take the hooks down. At least the hooks do not fall out while hanging it up. What I wanted was a system that I did not have to reach above my head to place the curtain on hooks. I can do it, but I have to take the hooks down. Why someone does not design hooks that stay on the rod, and simply slip the curtain over it....I don't know.Raised my rating two stars due to the fact that it is holding up well and has no mildew after three months.
