Great product. Does exactly what it was designed to do, hold a shower curtain and give you more elbow room. The only reason it did not get 5 stars, the mounting brackets have a small cover that snaps into place to hide the screws. While installing it, one of the small plastic clips that hold this braket in place broke. However, the cover still holds in place, the rod is great and matches our Moen faucets perfectly!

Although the bar looks lovely if/when you are able to get it installed, the included hardware does NOT work as it should. The directions say to drill a 1/4" hole for drywall installation, so we did. We then inserted the metal drywall anchors that were included. The screws do NOT fit securely in the anchors! They just slip right out. When we tried a larger screw, the anchor fell right through the wall, creating a huge hole. We now have to repair the wall, move the bar over a few inches, and start all over.
If you buy this product, we recommend you use your own regular PLASTIC drywall anchors and coordinating screws.

I compared this with another Moen rod, DN2160CH, and decided to get this one.CSR2165CH is a fixed-length rod, perfect for my shower enclosure.DN2160CH, which is adjustable, is a two-piece overlapping tube, and the inevitable "seam" was the deal-breaker.
This was very easy to install, once I found out that the recommended 1/4" drill bit is exactly what I needed for drilling holes on the tile.I got the specialty drill bit for tile and glass with carbide tip from Lowes, and it worked beautifully.
I'm very pleased with the finished product!

I was overall quite pleased with this shower rod.The curved rod really does add a surprising amount of space to the tub.This went up in about 40 minutes for me I needed to cut down the ends (as specified in the directions) to make it fit, so I used the cutting blade on my handheld rotary tool to take about a half inch off each end.
The mounts were easy to install once I'd removed my old shower bar.I had no problems with the instructions I found 1/4" to be the correct size hole for the included mollybolts, which worked just as they normally do.The mounts have a whole number of positions for screws to fit through, making it easy to line up as much as possible with your old mounting.I was able to use two old holes (in studs) and made one new hole for a mollybolt to hold each one in place.The decorative ends slip easily over the mounts.
My only real complaint would be that the decorative ends don't fit as snugly as pictured with the bar, presumably because of the way it's curved and the way they have to clip over the wall mounts.It's not conspicuous, but a tighter fit would have been more attractive.
For the price, though, I would definitely recommend this as a simple, fast upgrade to a dated bathroom.
