I'm sorry to write a bad review since all the others were really good, but this didn't work for me.

I bought this for my kids bathroom but it fell so many times, so I decided to toss it and purchase the more expensive one I had in my other bathroom since it was really sturdy.

Everytime I would give my son a bath, it would fall just by me moving the curtain to the side.I didn't pull on it or tug it.And I've installed other shower rods to know how much to tighten it.But no matter what, it just wouldn't stay up.Maybe mine was a defected one??

If you want a really nice shower curtain, this is probably isn't what you want.However, it was perfect for me.I'm in the Air Force and recently moved out of the dorms in Germany. In my condo's bathroom, there is a separate tub and shower, but the shower is a little cell with barely enough room to use, and the temperature adjustment is so picky my choices are either to turn up my heating so high that a cold shower is not objectionable, or burn while I'm showering.

The tub is set up like most American showers in that it has a shower head and a faucet to fill the tub, but no shower curtain rod!My landlord requested that I not put nails anywhere besides the walls, and the entire bathroom is lined with tile, so a tension rod was my only choice.This one was highly affordable, even for someone that's still in the process of buying cooking stuff and a couch and bed, and stays up fine.

If you're having issues keeping it up, I suggest twisting it out 'til you can get it between the walls, then keep twisting until it will not twist any more.This will put enough tension in it that you can put a reasonable amount of weight on it without it budging.

I'm getting the idea that some of these are defective, because most of the reviews are positive -not mine, however. I spun it out until it was just touching the walls on either side. I kept spinning to tighten. When I'd get it tight enough to stay in place, it would UN-tighten itself the minute I let go, and then crash down. I tried it on the tile, and on the drywall, and it didn't make any difference. Touch the wall tighten a little more let go it visibly un-tightened and fell. Every single time.

Have already received comment of which were envious due to fact they stand out in my bathroom. Had a certain idea of how opulent it would finish the room off. This bathmat is brown, not grey/black like the color shows. If you are getting this item to match other things in your bathroom, I would look elsewhere...that is, unless your bathroom is brown.

This rug is chocolate brown and tan NOT gray and black as stated in the description.

It also does not have a silicone back as the description states.Very unhappy with this purchase.

Bought the rug ... I was excited, but failed to read the posts of previous purchases. Lesson learned .. it's brown.Maybe I will use it in he garage or my dog can lay on it.

I bought this shower curtain because I wanted a country rustic bathroom and this shower curtain alone does the trick! I have washed it quite a few times and the colors have not faded yet. I did notice that it has a small hole which can be fixed easily, I am not sure how that happened. I have not dried it in the dryer, I hang it up after it comes out of the washing machine and ironing it is not necassary. Nice-looking starter bathroom set. Its plastic (so nothing special), but looks good and the price is right. Soap dispenser pump did not work contacted manufacturer who quickly stated that they would send a new one, but have yet to get it (going on 10business days).

If you've read any of my other reviews, you probably think I like everything! But that's not the case. I was really disappointed in this set. The color is right, but the gold piece around the top is not securely fastened to the item, so you have to keep putting it back. That in itself wouldn't be enough for me to complain, but the drinking cup has a sharp edge on the gold trim which I had to avoid every time I drank out of it. One of the items is a toothbrush holder -and who uses those any more? Most of us use electric toothbrushes, so I took the top off that and use it as a drinking cup.

I got this set mainly because the color was exactly what I was looking for. Now I wish I'd looked further. The corner of the waste basket was broken when I received it, the gold plastic trim was broken off and I could not fix it. All in all, the only thing I use is the cup.

I have used many different command hooks and all of them work perfectly. If installed correctly I have never had one come down, even when hanging more than the recommended weight on them. I have them on painted surfaces and on the backs of doors. I even hang my heavy full length terry cloth robe on it when it is wet after a shower. I know it weighs more than the 7.5.lbs for the jumbo hook. I think that the key is to put the adhesive strip on as directed and then hold it in place firmly for at least a minute. Then do not hang anything on it until the next day. I have had some of these hooks up for years and have never had a problem.

The sticky strips that come with these hooks really hold on, and then remove easily and cleanly if you need them to. I have bought quite a few Command Hooks because they have the ONLY self-adhesive strips that have never failed me, unlike the foam-backed ones that ALWAYS fail, eventually.

I have used these for years, and many of the hooks lasted that long! They have never damaged the wall when removed. The only time one damaged a wall was when I seriously overloaded the hook, it pulled the layer of paper off of the drywall. They didn't work on a wall with a glazed faux finish, but they have held on every other wall except a tile one behind the stove. (I think the heat did them in.) Try the other Command Adhesive products, too -especially the Velcro picture hangers.

I don't know if there was a change in the manufacturing process or what but after a move we purchased more of these since they worked so well in our old home.

We followed the directions to the letter. Cleaned the walls, cleaned again with alcohol, etc.

We even used anchors with a much higher weight limit than the items we were hanging them on.

First thing that fell was a small clock, hung on the large hook. Damaged it but we were able to repair it with epoxy and it didn't look too bad (Was annoying though as it was a brand new clock with pendulum that we spent about $50.00 on

We thought to ourselves, "It must be a fluke, or maybe we did something wrong" since we used them before to hang EVERYTHING in our other home and they were still firmly affixed when we moved.

2 days later a hand made Aztec calender we purchased on our honeymoon at a little roadside stand in the middle of the Yucatan rain forest fell. It landed on our end table, damaging the table and completely shattering this irreplaceable memento.

We were shattered as well.

We immediately removed our only other honeymoon wall hanging object, a Mayan Calender carved in bone from the other hook. I am just glad nobody was sitting underneath the Aztec one when it fell because it could have caused serious injury.

5 minutes ago a decorative tile (weighing in at a huge 2 1/2 ounces) just fell in the kitchen. (I forgot about that one being on the 3M strips) and also shattered. (we have tile floors so it didn't stand a chance). I immediately took down the other 4 and it was a good thing I did. The strips came away from the wall with ease (except for one small spot which actually took off the paint) and had less tacky of a feel than Scotch tape does!

I am now furious. I swore by 3M products for years and recommended them to all my friends and Clients (I am a Realtor®) I hope it doesn't damage anything of theirs, and my reputation, so I am going to have to contact everyone I recommended them to and ask them to remove them.

For the price of these hangers they should function as specified. I don't know if the failure is due to a change in environment (We used them successfully in the dry desert climate of Nevada and now live in humid Florida) and I don't care. They should test their products in all climates.

If you have ANY attachment to the items you are considering hanging these on, then don't do it. You will regret it. I would much rather patch small holes and touch up the paint then lose valuable items (and memories) to these inconsistently effective products.
