Dissappointed when I opened the box. Nowhere Is there anything that relates to Moen. Counterfeit or not? This shower rod does not come with the wall mounts (flanges). Shows them In half the picture as If they are Included. If It starts rusting, I will know It Is Chinese junk. If you buy this rod you will need flanges. Moen discontinued the 63-f-pb flanges but I would suggest the 63-F flanges which are around $11 shipped to your door and yes you get 2 of them. Here Is the Moen flanges:

The rod is very nice, and feels quite solid. Hopefully it won't rust!
I was very disappointed when I received it, though: Contrary to what the product pictures show, this item does not come with any flanges. I inquired with Amazon customer service, and they told me to go find a flange at my local hardware store. That's pretty poor customer service, especially considering that Home Depot does not carry a flange that fits that particular size rod (I spent quite some time looking for one, with the help of a clerk: no luck).

I ordered the Moen 63-5-HD shower curtain rod, which clearly shows the round ends with screw holes tghat attach to the walls --these end caps do NOT come with the rod.
You can purchase the end caps seperately for about $6.00.
I have no idea if the rod is really a Moen, if it is they should not be falsely advertising the rod with the end caps. If there is a way to let Amazon know that people are being misled by Moen's picture of the item, would someone please advise me or tell Amazon!

Good price and timely shipping.My space was slightly smaller than the length of the rod, but the rod cut easily with a pipe cutter.Easy to install. Looks great.
It's surprising how few of these wall-mounted, straight shower curtain rods there are. This one, with its polished look and solid construction looks great in our bathroom which we just had redone with bright white subway tiles as the main wall covering. Also eliminates the bump in the middle of the rod that a compression rod has making opening and closing the shower curtain as smooth as can be. This may even work for those decorative hooks that often fall off curtain rods but we use a closed loop shower curtain ring. No issues at all. This is the way to go.
Overall, I liked this tension rod.The decorative ends matched my tile perfectly (a combination of white, grey, beige).I was hoping the rod itself would be more blackish, but I can live with this oil-rubbed bronze.Not as streaky in color as some of the others.
