after shopping around I picked this rod out because it was the best deal, it includes all the hardware needed to install. the rod is strong and attractive. only problem I have with it and it may be an operator's glitch is when the two main poles are flush with each other it is a lot longer than the 66" it is advertised as.

The rod is inferior metal, bends easy w/just a bit of weight on it.Don't use this rod for anything close to the 120 inch width.It bows in the middle and there's no way to keep the rod together, doesn't screw together, etc.

Was a definite waste of money.

We've been through many expandable curtain rods over the years and this one is definitely the best.We've had it in use for almost two years with no problems whatsoever.We are using the rod at 104" extension with these drapes: using the middle support, this thing is solid!

BEAUTIFUL ROD SET.I purchased 2 of these rod sets, wanted double layered curtain finish.Also purchased the Levolor 54564.012 Double Brackets with Adjustable Projection.Didn't want any mismatches in coloring and dimensions.These brackets are beautiful for double rod curtains.

It's mentioned that these brackets are adjustable for 3/4'' 1''. The rod is too small, so where the rod sits in the bracket the screws can't reach the rod to make it hold in place. To correct the situation we put 3/4'' transparent hose (inside diameter of the hose) on the rod in the areas where the rod and the brackets meet to make it thicker, that solved the problem.Now the rod is tightened in place and cannot move. I was surprised since they are both Levolor products and that they don't combine correctly.

If you purchase the rod set for a simple curtain rod you will not encounter this problem.

End result is beautiful.Even thought this inconvenience, I'm overall Very Satisfied with the products.

Great product; you wouldn't know I didn't spend big bucks. I do wish the finials were a bit bigger since our window is so large, but they aren't so small it looks unusual.
