The white background is more of a bone color and is made of the same material as the matching tablecloth, so you will need a shower curtain liner. The hook openings are single stitched and a few were not fully opened, so you may want to reinforce them as they look like they will fray easily. I have not laundered it yet so hopefully the red band will not bleed or lose its very stiff shape. For seasonal use it should last many years. Overall I was a bit disappointed but not enough to return it.

This is a very nice shower curtain for dressing up a bathroom for the holidays.The fabric is substantial and the printed pattern is of very good quality.It is a good product from a good company.

I wanted something that would help make the bathroom more festive for Christmas. I was looking for something festive, but not "cute" This looked very attractive and festive with the red stripe on the bottom.

It is even better in person than it looks in the pictures. I was attracted to the delicate green holly leaves and red berries, but what you cannot see in the picture is the white satin damask holly leaves and berries that are woven inbetween the colored holly and berries. Very, very high quality look. We received many compliments on how beautiful this curtain is. So very glad I decided to purchase it.

I wanted this shower curtain for awhile, but didn't want to spend the money.I ended up buying something cheaper and with s&h it was about $22.00.It's just okay and I hung it in a guest bathroom because I didn't like it enough to put it in my own.I found the Lenox Holiday curtain at a Burlington Coat Factory for $24.99.I bought it and it's beautiful.If your budget can afford the Amazon prices plus s&h, buy it.I can't say enough good things about it.It should last quite awhile since it will only be hung for a month each year.
