These rods work perfectly on our living room windows.The black finish is great and the finials are attractive.I found ours to be well packed and did not see any damage to the finials, as some reviewers did, but I imagine if they aren't packed and shipped properly (or stepped on while laying around waiting to be hung) that they could be damaged readily.I found them to be sturdy enough for 96" length cotton/linen (unlined) curtains but if you have curtains of a heavier material, you might want to order something sturdier, although a middle support is, of course, included.
Condition of curtain rods the ball end was bent out of shape for all 3 curtain rods and broken. I had to make it look acceptable by bending the broken parts out with a screw driver.
Instructions on installation VAGUE. No information on what size drill bit to use to drill hole. No instructions on install on dry wall vs. cement wall. DID I MENTION THAT THE "PICTURE" INSTRUCTIONS CALLED FOR CLAMPS WITH TWO SCREWS BUT I RECEIVED CLAMP WITH ONE SCREW BUT DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF SCREWS?!?!
THE ONLY REASON I didn't return this is I have guests & parties & travel for the next few months and I can't be bothered trying to figure out how to ship it back to seller. Waste of ~$70...LESSON LEARNT
