We bought this to replace a fancier cloth shower liner that had gotten moldy.Being winter time I can't say how prone to mold it is.I can say that because of the material scrubbing mold off of it will be relatively easy and effective.The old cloth curtain could never be made to look clean.I also think this curtain is much more waterproof.I'd recommend this in conjunction with a nicer decorative shower curtain any day.Really perfect for any kind of rental, where there's a good chance you'll throw it away when you move out.
3 stars because it feels cheap but does the trick.
