The first thing I noticed after opening the package for this product was that I didn't smell any chemicals, the way you normally do when you get a bathmat or similar products. In fact, I didn't smell anything (and I'm hyper-sensitive to smells usually). So I have to assume that the claims of it being natural are accurate, which is great.It sticks to the tub floor well/easily (doesn't float up the suction works), seems to stay clean (we haven't had it long, but wanted to mention that I've had no issues compared with another review that said it started to mildew within a day), and is really cute.
Now I have to say that "cute" wasn't my priority in this purchase, but we use it in our tub for our 16-month-old daughter so she doesn't slip, and the first thing she did was point to the owl's eyes and say, "Eye." Then she walked back and forth along it (I assume because bubbles from the suction cups felt different on her feet), giggling and smiling. After I'd taken it out of the tub to dry, she pulled it from the side of the tub (of course) and began walking on it with the suction cups facing up...again, giggling and smiling...back and forth, for a good five minutes. It kept her occupied long enough that I could do a quick clean of the bathroom and get ready which, as a busy mom, was a HUGE win in my book.

I searched high and low for a bath mat that didn't come with that terrible vinyl smell. I also didn't want to spend a fortune.This mat is perfect for my toddler, who loves the design and knows that she needs to stay on the mat or she will slip.It would be better if it was a little longer, but that's my only complaint.We haven't had any problems with mold, even though we had this mat for several months in our old house that didn't have a ventilated bathroom.We always hang the mat up after use, and once in a while I run a diluted vinegar solution over it (and her bath toys) to clean.I'm sure it would mold if we left it in the tub, because water does seem to get trapped underneath.We use the suction cups to hang it on the tile, where it looks great and dries thoroughly.

Works great for my toddler who won't stay in a baby tub anymore. Sticks nicely to the tub but easy to pull off to hang up to dry. The surface is cloth-like so if people with really dirty feet walk onto it all the time I imagine it would get discolored, but we've been using it for weeks with no problem. This Owl Natural Bath Mat was a gift from a friend. It brought a laugh, and I wondered if I would use it. I opened it and found such a delightful owl, I decided to use it.
What a cute sight when I step into the tub.The high grip suction actually sticks to the tub floor and does not slip. There was no odor, no mold or other ugly sights after a month of use.
