I recently purchased a new shower curtain and liner to redecorate our bathroom.
I was going to get the coordinating shower curtain rings for the curtain, but after
reading reviews about how they slip off EVERY time the curtain is pulled, I passed.
So, I decided to try these. They look a little odd, since I'm used to the big round
plastic rings. How can these odd-shaped things keep a curtain moving?
Well, they do, and do a great job!
The top where the roller balls are has a slightly raised place on both sides, so the balls
do not roll down to the bottom of the ring (you can't really tell that from the photo).
The clasp there pinches open, in the manner of a safety pin you open it, put your curtain
on and re-pinch it closed. That was my biggest hesitation in trying this style it looks like the balls
would just roll anywhere on the ring.
They do not have a lot of give. I saw other comments about them breaking easily, but I did not
experience that. I would definitely advise putting your curtain on the rings first (be sure the
flat side faces out and the latch side faces in towards your tub), then take your shower rod
down and slide all the rings over the rod. That was the easiest for us, and we had no broken rings.
I LOVE the way these look! The rubbed bronze appearance goes really wonderfully with the curtain
I chose (Miramar Shower Curtain), and they don't catch or hang on the rod.
They look much nicer and more expensive in hand than they do in the photo.
I would definitely recommend these, and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
Buy Heavy Duty - Oil Rubbed Bronze Roller Shower Curtain Rings - Set of 12 RollerRingsTM Now
Matches well, works smooth, but is loud enough to be heard throughout the house..who would have thought? It's not really an issue unless I'm trying to be really quiet to not wake up the kids....from our master bath, so there should be plenty of sound barriers.Odd.I purchased these recently. They came promptly, within a few days which was nice.I thought they were going to be a little better quality than they were. While getting them on she shower curtain rod the paint chipped a good bit revealing a much brighter gold so they don't look as polished as I would have liked.Probably wouldn't purchase more, I'd spend a little more to get a little better.

When I bought these, I hadn't seen these shower rings with the rollers before, but it seemed like a neat idea-and they are! They are a nice bronze color that matches all of the fixtures in my bathroom. They work great, and roll along the shower curtain rod much more smoothly than normal shower rings. They are decently large and appear to be very durable.I tried pulling on one when I took it out of the package to see if it would break if someone were to pull on the shower curtain or something, and it didn't even bend, so I don't think it will be an issue, if that ever even happens. It was also relatively easy to clip them onto my shower curtain (definitely easier than removing my old ones!).The only complaint I have about it is that the plastic package they were in seemed unnecessarily difficult to open (definitely need some scissors), but I can't count that against the rings themselves.
