I honestly rushed to buy this thinking that it would give our bathroom a moderately unique feel.Instead, I got an extremely cheaply printed vinyl (which I now know equates to creased shower-liner) shower curtain with horrible colors that make it look the opposite of antique.

Even worse:the vinyl print is so shoddy that upon opening the ink sticks to itself at all the creased corners, successfully ripping the paint off at every corner...

I now have an inkjet-printed square-folded shower liner with four clear holes every square foot."Thanks"..

I loved this shower curtain but it smelled a lot like chemicals when I opened it. I tried several things to air it out and after a week it still smelled bad enough I got rid of it.

I bought this while disregarding the other reviews for it. They were all correct. The curtain smells terrible. It's not just that standard rubber pool toy smell, it's bad. Even hanging it outside for a day to air out didn't help. The coloring also appeared to be coming off in places. It didn't seem to be "part of the design", it looked like it was worn out already. I don't mind spending $30 on a quality shower curtain that I love, but I do mind spending it on a cheap plastic tarp with a bad print job. I was beyond disappointed this didn't look or smell great. Don't expect anything different.

Received this and was highly disappointed.

This is essentially just a piece of plastic sheeting (We always called it visqueen. The thick, semi-opaque plastic sheeting you buy at the hardware store) with printing on it.

Upon opening, it had an EXTRAORDINARILY horrific chemical smell from this.It was bad enough that I had to put it in a guest bedroom with the windows open and a fan blowing and the door closed. And it still made that part of the house smell bad enough that no one would go there.

After a week of that I hung it up in the bathroom and it still smelled bad enough that it wasn't pleasant to take a shower.

After barely a month of use the printing started coming off all over the curtain in sections, some barely noticeable some areas the size of a golf ball.

The vendor was nice enough to refund my entire purchase price including shipping so very high marks for them.Just crappy marks for this curtain.

1 star for being a cool design. -4 stars for being a horrible product that is unusable after barely a month and was never really enjoyable from the start.

I ordered this several months ago and was pleasantly surprised the plastic is high-quality and has really held up, and it's been a great addition to the bathroom. People are always giving compliments and asking me where I got such a unique shower curtain!

My only qualm is that there are several oddly-shaped "holes" (not actual holes, just clear plastic where no black paint was printed) in the solid black, which I realized eventually were just part of the vintage design from the original print.
