Chesapeake 2-Piece Pebbles 21-Inch by 34-Inch and 24-Inch by 40-Inch Bath Rug Set

I really do love these rugs they are well made, soft (feel great on the feet!), and the colors are really nice.However, the picture used for the "New Willow" green does not depict the colors of what you actually get.I fell in love with the pictured rugs, since the green in them looked like a bright moss or deep chartreuse.The darker "pebbles" in the picture appeared to be a dark gray.Someone really upped the contrast before they posted this pic, because the green turned out to be a much lighter, spring green; the "olive-brown" is more like a light tannish-gray.Still, they are very attractive rugs and I'm happy enough with them to rate 5 stars.Like the other reviewer, my cat is in love with these rugs and rubs on them all day long!:^)

Oh and one more tip, make sure you pay attention to the actual measurements listed in the description.The small rug is only slightly smaller than the large.Like the colors, the proportions you see in the picture are not very accurate either.

I was very happy with the look and feel of these rugs (made in India)but when I put it in the washing machine (following care instructions, of course) so many threads came out that they plugged up the outlet hose. We were able to pull out many fistfuls of large cotton yarn manually, but in the end still had to call a plumber. So the rug really cost me $119. Ironically the rug still looks goodyou can't even see where the yarn came from! Now i have to figure out how to wash it, since I won't put it back in the machine. I guess I'll take it down to the stream and beat it with rocks.

I laughed when I read a couple reviews from people who say their cats love these rugs. I can see why: They are so soft and thick.Cats know how to wallow in luxury.Hey, I can appreciate luxury too when I'm lucky enough to find it.The only problem with these rugs is I fear that because of the way they were woven, there might be some shedding ahead.I haven't washed them yet and I'll be sure to wash them on the delicate setting, as suggested by another reviewer.All in all, I'm very pleased with their beauty and quality.

They do look gorgeous in person. When I first recieved them, I was about ready to return them, they were pale and very very very yellow. To top it off, Amazon literally just threw the old shipping box (label and all) into a new box and sent me someones return... That ticked me off...

The size was right though and I really wanted to go for a spa like feel in my bath. So I sat on it, and slept on it. Eventually I put them down in the bathroom and it was almost like looking at a different rug. The yellow became muted, the blues popped and I fell in love.

They seem to be incredibly well made. Are thick and luxurious on my feet, it makes toweling off nice and relaxing without stepping out onto cold tile.

If you get them and out of the box decide you don't like them, please try them in the bathroom first. You might be suprised. I almost missed out on an amazing find because I judged them so quickly. Luckily I gave it time and I am one happy customer.
