I needed something less opaque than what I had to let light through. Why is it so difficult to install lighting above a shower stall?This did the trick. It's considerably less ugly than plastic, and thin enough to let a good deal of light in so I can actually see what I'm doing. It's a bit stiff, but like other reviewers, I find that a good thing -when I put the curtain in place it stays there, so water splashing from the shower doesn't get around the edges.
It did stink quite a lot for the first few days, but after a couple of weeks the odor has -heh -washed away.
