I had my doubts about this rod, but at such a ridiculous price I had to check it out. After all, how hard is it to create a stiff length of metal and then ship it?

Well, it's pretty hard. First, the "metal" appears to be tin, as this thing bends at the slightest provocation. You can probably hang a bit of lace or plastic from it, but forget it for any actual curtain that has discernible mass. Second, it arrived bent right through the middle. Since the metal is so brittle, attempting to bend it back into shape results in the metal snapping. Finally, even if I *did* attempt to hang something from it, the mounting "hardware" is a joke. You get a couple of screws and a piece of what appears to be 4mm diameter wire bent into a U-shape to hang the rod from.

Save time and frustration and spend a little extra for the solid stuff.

This rod does the job -I'm using it to hang four curtain sheets + the sun blocking things behind it (two windows worth). It sags in the middle but that's my fault for doing the support bracket before adding the weight. And I'll leave it because I'm lazy and it doesn't bother me.

All hardware included: 2x bracket, 4x screws, 1x support hook for the middle.

Brackets are simple, bent metal but do the job.

$6.46 shipped. Would be hard to argue this product is not worth the money.

Bent in two places and the entire rod was bowed out. I tried pliers to fix it but I could not get the rod to extend due to the bowing.. could not fix it.. tossed in garbage

Levolor Kirsch A7004213287 45 to 82-Inch Width Heavy Duty Curtain Rod, WhiteI mistakenly used this rod for lightweight curtains for a 2 year old girl. She tugged on the curtains and the rod bend it half. In my opinion this rod should be plenty adequate for lightweight curtains or for sheers behind curtains but definitely not for heavier weight curtains or where children might tug at them.

This was easy to install and it is sturdy.It does exactly what it should and I have not had any problems with it so far.
