Although the curtain itself is made of cotton, there is a narrow strip of PVC vinyl at the top to reinforce the holes for the curtain hooks.So if you're looking for a PVC-free shower curtain, this isn't the one.The fabric is a bit on the thin side, and water sprayed directly at it will pass right through unless you are using a liner.
