Ordered this to replace my existing shower rod.I had one the bowed out to give more shower room but my shower curtain I had made for this particular bathroom was to heavy for the rod and it started to bend.I needed a heavy duty shower rod that would not rust.It is definitely heavy duty hopefully it won't rust.I was able to use my existing bracket and just attached the shower rod.My husband did have to trim the rod, the 60 inches was to long.
