Aquatico Sydney Shower Curtain Tension Rod, Antique Copper

I was hesitant to spend so much on a rod, but I'm quite pleased with this product. It looks just like it does in the picture, although the copper is on the pinker side of the copper color spectrum. The finish was well done. The rod itself is about 1 inch in diameter and fairly sturdy, even though it seems a bit hollow. Of course, when the diameter is smaller, it seems more solid. But I was surprised at how big in diameter the ends were: 2.5 inches!It looks much smaller on the screen. The ends screw off (which makes it easier to get out of the tricky packaging) and have thick foam so they don't scratch the walls. I've seen similar size rods sell for $25 but the finish was cheap and the quality questionable.

The item is as pictured.It looks like pretty heavy duty metal, but is light.I'm using it as a regular (window) curtain rod and have it holding up a heavy curtain, it is used at almost its maximum length, pressing into a wall that's plaster and so a bit uneven, it hasn't budged.Great buy!
