The item is very flimsy.Very weak construction.It buckles in the middle when placed between window frames.The paint sratches very easily.Will not buy again.

Was quite disappointed in this product... VERY, VERY, cheap, and poorly made!! Item is to flexible and bendible. By the time

you put the fabric valance on it, it does not stay straight, to spring tension secure if in place. The spring mechanism inside the

rod to spring tension it in place is to flimsy and cheap. If we make the rod tight/secure in the area, it bends outward... If we don't

secure it so snugly, the rubber gripper ends won't hold the rod in place/up in desired area. Not sure if this item will even work for

the application we purchased it for, because it is so CHEAP!!!!!!!!! Purchased one of these years ago, and not al all made like the one we have...

This tension rod works perfectly and was easy to assemble. I would purchase this again if I ever need another tension rod.
