I know most people buy the newer metal curtain hooks; which I have used before, but I really hate them. Metal hooks rust and make that awful metal on metal sound, if you have a metal shower curtain rod. So I sought out the plastic hooks for our new place. I'm happy with my choice, they haven't broken or cracked and they seem to be pretty sturdy. So I recommend them.
