I was disappointed when I saw that it was white on the website but nothing in the product description said it was off white.

This is a beautiful curtain.Was a little worried because i thought it might be a lace pattern on plastic sheeting. It is actual lace. So you'll need a liner.The liner can be seen through the lace, which doesn't bug me. I think it ads just the right amount of subtle prettiness to our bathroom.
