The rod has a nice design and is well made overall. The supports against the shower walls are much larger than some of the cheaper tension rods and I think that is why it does not fall down unlike some of the other rods. The only negative is that the chrome finish scratched easily when I put on the shower hooks. I probably could have avoided that by putting on some painters tape first but I think that should not be a necessary step (reason to dock it one star).
this shower rod is fine. It has a gap where the two pieces connect. The chrome finish is nice and it is easy to install.

I'm sure this is a good product.I ended up buying one very much like it in a store.However, when I took mine out of the package the spring was cracked off of the end so I simply returned it.Not the sturdiest rod. The pole is slightly more gray than the flanges. Already has scratches on it. Makes too much noise when opening the shower curtain. Will be returning. I wanted a chrome shower rod, but all the ones I have found look cheap. First let me say...."I love them!".My only issue is that they were described as "curtains" and arrived with only one panel.The valance was described as "valance".That is what arrived.One.As it should be.With that wording, I was expecting there to be two curtain panels.I will have to order another one, but hopefully won't get charged S/H.

Lace Window Film Contact Paper
We purchased this lace film to cover the glass doors in a set of wood cabinets in our informal dining area. The previous house owners used the cabinets to display a lot of their "pretties". We need the space for storage, especially items we use on a regular basis. The pattern is pleasing to the eye and somewhat formal, so keep that in mind. I wish the film with its lace print would have been a bit more opaque. The colors and general shapes of objects behind the glass can be seen although it's difficult to tell for sure what most things are. We are please with the overall looks of the final job. Applying the film was not too difficult, but take it slow and do a good job pressing it down to avoid any bubbles. I found moving slowly in one direction and using my hand to firmly apply the film worked best. I also used a squeegee after that, but I'm not sure if it helped that much. There are directions for a soap and water application that is supposed to make the process easier especially for large pieces. Also, try not to pull the film back up when doing the dry method as this sometimes will leave a semi-noticeable line in the film. And did I mention that the price was great compared to some other products out there on the market? If you are on a budget, this is a good way to go to complete a quality project. Also, delivery of the film by the supplier was fast.
My sisters old metal front door needed to be replaced, she bought a new one with glass, everyone loved the way it looked. The door opens into the living room, and made a great entrance into the house, but now there was a big problem.
The house always had plenty of light, now there was too much. All day bright light came streaming through the glass effecting my sister's eyes, and making the house hot. The door looked beautiful, but she wished she had the old door back.
I saw this product on Amazon and knew this may be the solution to the problem. The glass is at the top of the door, and if someone stood on their tiptoes, they could see in, so this may also solve that problem. I decided to surprise my sister and I made a template of the glass while she was out.
I was so excited when it arrived, but when I first saw it I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. There was no texture and it appeared to be very lightweight, also the pattern seemed very faint and much smaller than in the picture. I decided I would try it anyway as it wasn't very expensive (just over $12). I grabbed the template and took it to my sister's house.
It didn't take long to cut it out, it was nice and sticky, but easy to work with. I was able to move it a few times until I was happy with the position. There are a few tiny air bubbles, but you don't see them, because of the double panes of glass and the black lead.
My sister was thrilled when she saw it, it looks very pretty, and delicate, the pattern looks like it is in the glass. You can't see through this stuff which solved the privicy problem. There is still light, but it isn't streaming in like before and blinding everyone. I'm going to post some pictures of the inside and outside effects.

I've had it on the glass about a year, it still looks as good as the day I put it on.

I got this lace paper to cover my bathroom window by my shower. It looks gorgeous on the window and was very easy to apply. I applied it lazily, and ended up with some bubbles, but was able to push the bubbles out using a credit card. Even if there are a few bubbles, it is not noticeable. It comes with lines on the back that help with measurement and cutting straight lines. The only thing I had an issue with is that one of the edges on the roll of paper was dirtylike black. The "dirty" part only went in to the paper about 1/2cm, but was still a little frustrating. Shipping was fast. The paper does not block out light, which is goodjust gives the window a "frosted" look. I am thinking about ordering another roll of this to cover some other windows in my house.

This is not just a window "cling" but is actually adhesive, so it could be applied to anything.I did put it on a window, though.The door that leads to our sunroom is made of 18 glass panes, floor to ceiling, which unfortunately, show all of our guests how messy our sunroom can be!I didn't want to block the light that comes through the mudroom into the rest of our house by installing a regular door.I didn't want to hang curtains and chance the kids pulling them down.So, I bought this lace film to apply to the glass panes.It has a lovely, believable, lace pattern.The light still comes through, but no one can the mess hiding on the other side of the door.It was easy to apply with a squeegie.If it stuck to itself as I clumsily put in on a pane, I was still able to separate it.It was easy to cut with the guidelines on the back.The back of the paper has guidelines every 1/2 inch, so all of my 18 rectangles were perfectly cut.It would have been nice if the instructions on the back didn't block so many of the guidelines, but I was able to manage by connecting the line on the top to the line on the bottom of the instructions.

These are very nice looking shower hooks. They are nice and solid, and look great in my bathroom. Another reviewer mentioned the hooks were to small for his shower curtain rod. Even though I have a tension rod, I went ahead and ordered them anyway, and they work perfectly on my rod. The dimension of the hook opening, that goes over the shower curtain rod, is 1 1/8"across, if that helps anyone out!?I'm very pleased, and glad I ordered these hooks!

These hooks are very heavy and look nice in my bathroom. The problem that I have is that the hooks keep unhooking from the shower curtain and falling to the ground when pulling shower curtain to close. Very dangerous! I love the colors even more in person, but the pattern is sewn incorrectly. Since it only cost me $10, I kept it for my spare bathroom. Because this pattern has many boxes or square patches, it is very noticible that they are sewn diagonally instead of straight across.

This cloth curtain looks nice and also repels water better than some plastic ones we have owned. Because its cloth its quieter in the shower and folds up easier when opening. The color scheme fits our bathroom perfectly. It is heavy enough to block light coming through so there is good privacy behind it. The product label claims to be "Deluxe, Heavy Weight Vinyl" . Upon opening the liner, I found that the vinyl was thin, flimsy (despite the weighted bottom), and of low quality. The company quickly agreed to refund my cost ($4.44) but not shipping (a $7 loss) but points out that "under the 'Product Features' section of the page we describe the liner as follows: "Bargain liner, not as heavy as some others but half the price". Basically, you get what you pay for. It may be worth the $4.44,but I will go back to JC Penneys and pay the extra money for a high quality liner.

Popular Bath "Sinatra Silver" 21X32 Bath Rug
This is a real nice mat that really goes with my downstairs half bath decor.It vacuums well and because it's gray doesn't show much stains etc so far.I have had it for about a month now in a bathroom that is used heavily.My only complaint is that the decorated circle sides tend to twist up so when you step on them when they are twisted up with bare feet it hurts a bit...you are OK if you wear slippers. It should have been better if they were sawed into place on both ends not just through the center.

I bought this rug and the matching shower curtain for a small bathroom. I liked the shower curtain but am not really impressed with the quality of this rug especially at $20. The rug is very thin and not that great, and a bit stiff. The rug came folded in the packaging and still has crease marks from the folds which will hopefully work themselves out over time. The sequin area of the rug matches the material of the curtain but the actual rug part is a little bit lighter and while it looks OK with the shower curtain, it could have been a little bit darker of a color to match better.I am keeping the rug because it wasn't worth the hassle to try and send it back and I will keep it for the short term but will probably try and find a rug that will coordinate better with the shower curtain. I wouldn't buy the rug again.

Hog Wild Shower Light
Just installed this nearly a week ago and it works great. There is more than enough water pressure in my apartment to drive the internal turbine and make it work. I also removed the pressure regulator prior to installation and recommend that others do the same as it is a rubber insert with three very tiny holes to regulate the water usage to 2.5 US gallons of water per minute at approximately 80 PSI. You will definitely want to leave in the filter screen though.Yes, the output is considerably less than typical shower heads but to me it feels great and doesn't spray water all over the place like the previous shower head did.
As for the LED's, I love the colors. I've noticed that the blue is brighter than the red but that's no big deal and both are bright enough to where I could shower in the dark if needed, for example an extended power outage.
I would highly recommend this shower head. It does exactly what its intended to do and since it has an internal turbine, no batteries are required. Just make sure you have sufficient water pressure and shop around for the best price.
If it breaks in short order, then I'll adjust my rating accordingly.

Just under a year (first installed on 9/10/09) and it is just about ready to bite the dust. That's not good. It seems like 11-12 months is the magic number as far as the life expectancy of this item is concerned. I'm really glad I didn't pay the retail price about $49.99 or I would have been really mad. Fortunately I got a second one at a REALLY good discount, paid only $7.98 so I'll install that one soon and try again.
I have been using this shower head for four months.As the previous reviewer mentioned, the water pressure is lower than most shower heads, even after I removed the flow regulator.There is still enough pressure to comfortably rinse my hair.Also, about 2 1/2 months into use all of the lights dimmed considerably but a few weeks later, they intensified again, and have remained bright.Perhaps there was some variability with the water pressure in my house.
The shower light really is powered by the water flow, so I haven't had to worry about replacing batteries.The blue light is bright enough to shower with the lights off, and the red light is dimmer (but still looks cool).I have noticed that the light stays blue even with fairly warm water it will not turn red until the shower is HOT.Interestingly, when the water temperature is borderline, both red and blue LEDs are lit, creating a neat purple effect.
Highly recommended for blue led lovers!
I am enjoying the temperature color change feature, can get into the shower much sooner (waste less water) when I see the color changing.
The water pressure is slightly lower now, so if you like a hard pounding shower, this may ruin it for you. When you shut the water pressure off, its makes some gurgley sounds as the water drains out of the oversized head. Something you get used too. I am getting plenty clean and its really fun to take aa shower, that's the bottom line.

Product is fun and pretty bright when turned on. It does exactly what is shown in many of the videos on youtube and elsewhere. However one recommendations to buyers, Open up the shower head and use clear packaging tape to cover the outer ring of holes where water sprays out. reason being is that the water does not shoot out far enough with normal pressure.All else is good! However it does have a plastic and somewhat cheap feeling to it, but it is fun to take dark showers with a mate.

I bought this shower head on the discount table at a home furnishings store.I installed it first with the pressure regulator installed.The water barely dribbled out, and the light stuttered. For the second installation I took the regulator out.The water reached about a foot away from the shower wall this time.I had to turn the water all the way to the hot side to get it to change from blue to red.My water pressure must not be high enough. Went back to my old boring shower head.I used a rubber mat between my wrench and the attachment fitting but the chrome still pealed off a little.
