We have a two-wall bathtub and this curtain was the perfect width to go all the way around with a little extra.The material is a little nicer than regular vinyl and thinner as well.Downsides would be that the bottom isn't weighted so it does have a tendency to blow in, plus the window area was bigger than I expected.Imagine on a 5'10" male, you can see from the shoulders up.

I like the style of the shower curtain.It could be a little heavier, or have some weights or magnets at the bottom.Not sure if I would buy the same thing again.I would most likely look for something with a little more weight to it.

Some reviewers said that when they bought the extra long 100" version, that the detentions were reversed making it too tall. I'm happy to say that mine was the correct width and height. Since the curtain is SO big, it becomes a sail if there is any air current in your bathroom. I ended up buying 2 regular weighted shower curtains (for 5 bucks total), ripping out the magnetic weights (6 in all) and duck taping them to the outside of the curtain where the folds touch the tub (use clear duck tape!) That solved the lack of weighting for me in less than an hour. Note: the duck tape doesn't look like it will stick to the curtain, but it's actually lasted for a couple of months so far... In any case, this is better than using 2 shower curtains, i think. Also, the clear "window" keeps you from feeling claustrophobic and is a conversation piece :) Recommend.

Maytex Glide Shower Curtain Rings

I got these because I was tired of the shower curtain ending up torn from trying to get it over the 'bump' where the rods connect.Now I never have that problem and the curtain moves freely from either direction.The hooks are definitely secure...the only downside I see is that they will be a pain when removing the curtain for cleaning, however, I consider that well worth the effort.

These only look good.They are made of somekind of cheap lead like material.When you try to open them up to put on the curtain tube they simply break!When I was putting them up three broke and I threw them all away.These are just plain cheap, useless hooks.Beware dont buy!

These rings are nothing fancy, but are several steps up from cheap plastic rings. They glide smoothly and could not do a better job of that than anything I've owned or seen.

The construction quality is moderate. There's nothing terribly bad about it, nor are they built like anything well beyond this product's price point. I would not recommend snapping these open and stretching them to get them around your shower rod. They are not designed for that. For an existing rod, take it down and slide these on when you first get them. It's a far better way to remove your old rings while you are at it. If you are installing a new rod, slide these on before mounting it. Open and close the rings only to put curtains on or take them off.

I'm using these with a high quality sturdy chrome rod that is well anchored. I have not tried them with a cheaper force fit type aluminum rod so I can't say whether these would help avoid problems in that scenario. But I can say that these don't look out of place on my shower rod and performance is top notch.

If you are expecting something that looks like the picture and works very well, that's exactly what you get. Any set of "rings" can be installed or removed most quickly by removing the rod, but if you want rings that can be snapped on or off one at a time, you need a snap open ring rather than a hook style that's technically not a ring. This set works as designed.

Amazon's website states the retail price of this product is $29.99 making their price appear to be a deal which is not true. This same product is $24.99 retail and another major retailer and they have instore coupons which bring the price down 20%.

The product itself is pretty cheap and I am mad at myself for trying to save $10 each as I think the In-Tension rods at $35 each are a FAR better product.This would be fine for curtains that you rarely use but if you're looking for something that will last I would suggest going with a higher quality product.

I wanted a black decorative tension rod. Well. This isn't it.

It was not advertised as a twist and turn rod. Maybe I should have known that from the picture. Anyway, it does not stay up on a smooth painted surface. My curtains are extremely light. Yet, the minute I twisted this thing on, and hung the curtains, it immediately untwisted itself and fell to the floor. It took with it some of the paint from my wall.

It is also cheap looking. Now I have to go through the inconvenience and expense of returning it. Not to mention having to spot paint my wall.

The photo of this shower curtain rod looks nice.My shower is only 58" wide, and this rod barely works. 10 months later, it was warped and rusted and needed to be replaced.The rod is only 1/2" diameter at the THICK end, 3/8" diameter at the thin end.Not thick enough to support most standard shower curtains.You need a thicker rod (1" diameter) than this one.

I have been using this curtain rod for about a month now, and it has fallen down more than five times. Having to re-install it every week gets frustrating very quickly. It would probably get the job done for a curtain that you do not touch or move very often, but if you will be opening and closing the curtain on a daily basis you should expect this rod to come crashing down on your head more than once.

These rings are well-made and work great.Much smoother sliding than the old plastic hooks or metal rings with no rollers.

Based on the description, they are made of chrome-plated brass so should never rust.I checked this with a small magnet so I can at least verify that they are not plated steel, which tends to rust over time.

Since these rings are top-heavy, it can be a little frustrating when first attaching the shower curtain since the rings keep flipping upside down.But all is fine once the weight of the curtain is holding them right-side up.If you lift up on the curtain, some of the rings may again flip upside down.

There is about 1-1/2" measured vertically between the bottom edge of the shower rod and the bottom bend in the rings.This is the approximate amount of vertical space you have inside the rings for hanging your shower curtain.Some fancy curtains with over-sized grommets or a lot of material between the grommets and the top edge of the curtain may not fit (will drag on the shower rod), but most standard curtains should be fine.

I was always annoyed by having to keep tugging the shower curtain little by little over the rod to open or close it. It also seemed like I had to replace my shower curtain hangers frequently for one reason or another.

This is a great invention because it makes the curtain slide along the rod with one easy pull, and these clips don't wear out or break. I've had mine for maybe 8 years.

A huge plus is that a vinyl shower curtain lasts much longer when used with these clips because you don't pull on it with so much force or keep tugging at it. (I also only buy vinyl shower curtains with the metal grommets, so that helps, too.)

These shower curtain rings are fine for curtains with large slits in them for holes. I purchased these to use with a shower curtain and a liner (Maytex No More Mildew Shower Curtain Liner, Clear). While the holes in my shower curtain were large enough to fit these rings, the liner holes were pretty small and can only fit on the part of the ring that snaps together. To better explain this, take a very close look at the picture. You can see that the ring is uniform in width throughout except for a very small section. This section is how you open and close the ring it's a simple snap mechanism. However, it was difficult for me to get these to work with the liner.

These do work fine, and it's probably my fault for failing to take the hole size into account. I docked one star because of this issue since pulling the shower curtain from side to side tends to dislodge the liner at one end because the snaps aren't that solid. But this would only be an issue in my case. In general, I think the snaps would be fine if the weight of your curtain and liner didn't have to rest directly on them.

Mine arrived after several calls made. It has beautiful colors but the stitching was poor quality. It was cut crooked, 6.5" wider at the bottom than the top and only had 11 holes at the top for hooks (traditionally 12). The holes were not evenly spaced and did not match the holes for the liner. The company I ordered from was in New York and they were very difficult to deal with. I have not seem them on "Amazon" for a while.
