This liner is not too thin or too thick. It has kind of a frosted look to it. There are 13 reinforced grommets at the top which means I came up exactly one shower curtain ring short of enough. My only complaints are that it doesn't come with magnets or any weights at the bottom, and that it came wrapped in plastic (maybe the packaging was biodegradable too?). After a few weeks of using it, I don't have any issues with the curtain blowing in at me after some googling on how to fix that problem weights aren't necessarily the answer. I just leave space for air to blow into the tub so as to avoid the shower water vortex scenario, and that seems to work.I would buy this liner again. I've been using it for three weeks or so and I think it will hold up for a long time. I don't worry about it tearing, even though every time I have to move the curtain aside I have to rough it up a little since my curtain rings don't move smoothly on the rod. It's biodegradable, which is the whole reason I bought it, so I don't worry about it clogging up a landfill someday. It seems to be very mildew resistant. Truth be told, I haven't cleaned it once. I spritzed a little daily shower spray on it once recently but it still looks as new as the day I bought it. And, it doesn't smell because there's no PVC. It didn't smell when I first hung it up and it doesn't smell now. Ah, how I love the smell of nothing!
