This set looks a lot darker on our set than in the pictures. We like it, but would have preferred more gold and not so much black, it is overwhelming to our pickled bedroom set. It is growing on us, but we are still looking for that set that just pops. This would look much better in a royal blue, which is what my wife thought it was when she ordered it. Albeit, we will keep it as a back up.
