I got this because of the price.Other 48" rings that are wider (ovals) were over $300.I would definitely prefer more elbow room--luckily I'm thin!--but it's very sturdy and attractive.I got one of anchors in a stud and one is in with the drywall screws, and it seems nice and solid.Of course it *can* rock back and forth since there are only the two points of contact, but you would have to be pretty abusive for that to be a problem, I think.Well made, good deal, not for the extremely large-boned....
