It went in easily, the wall brackets are nice and sturdy.

The curve is not so much that it hits my small bathroom's door, but it still adds a sense of extra space with the curtain drawn.

We had read other reviews on this shower rod and it was dead on as the other reviewers said. This is a very strong, well made rod. This is the commercial one piece type that is used in hotels. My husband was impressed with the quality of the rod and the machined parts. It went up very easy and there was no problems. We love, love, love, this rod. The others we found in big box stores were not as strong because the rod telescoped to fit the space.Buy this you won't be sorry!
