I will say I like the curtain as a curtain and not as a liner or "stand alone curtain". In the present ad, it claims the Veratex Celine Woven Fabric Shower Curtain may be used alone.I ordered this to replace the fabric stand alone shower curtain I had by Cannon. It was truly stand alone. This one here is just thin enough that water does run through and leak onto the floor. Never did with my Cannon. The fabric would get soaked but not enough to actually drop water to the floor like this curtain does. Also this one does not have suction tabs on the sides nor a weighted hem. Both additional features the Cannon one had. I'm using this one sparingly until I get another Cannon to replace it.
So, in the end...its ok as a curtain but not necessarily as a liner and most definitely not a stand alone curtain/liner. In fact I just read the actual label on the curtain and it says: "use of vinyl liner is recommended". That message is not on the Cannon. The weight of the two curtains are the same and they feel pretty much the same except the weave is not as tight on the Veratex which may account for why water is actually able to run through it when it gets wet enough. And it doesn't take much for that to happen.
The color of this shore curtain was exactly what I wanted. However the spots for the rings were uneven from the top and had cheep metal rings.
