Be warned, it's a great deal price wise but the design is poorly thought out. Since the rod is curved and two piece, adjusting the length to fit your tub creates a problem at the attachment points. As one adjusts the length, the two ends may no longer be straight and flush against the walls. This makes final attachment of rod to wall almost impossible without some serious bending and damage to wall and/or rod to make it fit. Other rods have swivel units at one of the ends of the rod to account for this variable.

1/16/12 An update, if I can take away the one star, I would. It has only been a year and the rod is rusting like crazy. Normal usage in a bathroom with your standard powered fan vent in ceiling on during every shower so I doubt I've abused the rod in any way. Just overall, a very inferior product. Spend a little more so you won't have to be looking for a replacement a year later.

Bought this shower curtain rod for my newly remodeled bathroom.I couldn't find the bronze finish in the stores.The product is sturdy and the price was very reasonable because it included the rings and a liner.The length of the rod is adjustable; I have it in a 48" shower, not a conventional bathtub.Fits great, looks great!

Update:

Two years later... there is a very slight speckling of rust on the underside of the bar itself, but it appears that a little chrome polish may buff that off.We are still pleased with it!

My delivery box was mangled upon receipt but the contents were not damaged and no parts were missing.

Installation is very straight-forward and easy.Conveniently, I am the perfect height to "hold" the rod with my head while tightening the screws and bolts... anyone that is not this convenient height may want an extra person to help hold the bar level while performing the final tightening-down step... :)

The liner is a generic white liner with metal grommets.(As expected: nothing fancy or exciting.I may change it out later, but I am enjoying the clean, white, plain look right now!)

The bar is of decent weight and seems well made. (I am happily pleased, I was concerned it would be cheesy since it was inexpensive.)

The hooks are fantastic I've always wanted the little roller hooks, but just never had gotten any. (Whoever mentioned that theirs were weak/thin may have gotten something different than mine or had an elevated expectation for their liner hooks?)

My only disappointment is that the drywall anchors used to hold the mounting brackets to the wall, are too small or too weak or too something... No worries, as we have many to choose from in the garage I am just kind of peeved that I have to now disassemble everything to swap out for better anchors.:'(

Overall, I am pleased. I like the components that make up this package.I would recommend this to my friends or family with the caveat about the mounting anchors.

I bought this and I also bought a similar onefor $20 that only came with the bar.They were both exactly the same to install but I would definitely buy the all-in-one package for $40 for both if I were to do it again.The ball-bearing shower hooks are fantastic and the liner that comes with this package is the perfect size for this bar.

An obvious bonus is the added space the curved rod gives you in the shower.
