While installing the tiebacks, they needed to be bent slightly to contour to the window frame, with just a slight bit of pressure, something that I have done dozens of times with other tie backs, the tie back snapped right at the narrow end of the tie back where the screw holes are located. Many time tie backs need to be bent to actually HOLD the curtain back without having the curtain material come out of the sides. That did not work for these. Luckily, I was able to purchase a different pair of tie backs at Lowes that had a similar look, and exchanged the end globes to match the others that I already had that I was trying to match up to. These are okay,,,but they are long and brittle.
