I purchased this rod because it advertised as "rust resistant". This claim is a total fraud. My bathroom is not humid, I have plenty of other brushed nickel fixtures installed and none of them have any sign of rust. This rod started to exhibit signs of erosion after two weeks! Now after two months it has many rust spots, and the screws are completely rusted. the company that makes it should be sued for false advertisement. It's also difficult to install. Total waste of money.

If you can secure 4 screws to your wall, then this is an easy project. Just make sure you plan ahead. I drilled to check if there was a stud. One side had a stud the other didnt. I used 2 toggles and 2 stainless machine screws I bought at the hardware store.And also bought 2 stainless steel screws for the side with the stud.

Very easy. I had a 60" opening and works great!

Previously I had a glue-on curved shower rod from target but that one was awful.

I got this for one of my bathroom and I have the Moen brand double shower rod in my second bathroom. I like that one better. Mainly because the curtain on the rod towards the shower goes further right and the Moen has a way of covering the screws so they can't be seen.

The dry wall mounting hardware that comes with this didn't work. I ended up buying better anchors but it was frustrating having to run to the hardware store in the middle of the job.

This curtain rod does the job. I no longer have to worry about the curtain falling to the floor in the middle of my shower. It screws right into the tile firmly, and it's sturdy so I expect it to be there forever if we choose. Our daughter has commented about the link area where the rod can expand. As one metal piece slides into the other and allows the expansion, she has difficulty getting it to slide smoothly. I have to admit, so do I. But being a taller and stronger person,I have enough leverage and can apply enough energy so that it crosses that physical hump without a problem.

This rod is also quite versatile allowing us to use the second bar as a towel rack when we have visitors and to separate the curtain liner from the shower curtain allowing more air flow and probably making it less likely to have mildew.

My husband purchased a rod like this (single bar) at a local wholesale store a year or more ago.We remodeled our bathroom to include the laundry since our home is the 70's style with the laundry downstairs in the basement.We purchased the newer front loading machines and were not able to enclose them with doors because of their enormous size.Although I love my new washer and dryer, I do not want for everyone to have to look at them when they walk through the bathroom.This rod was a bright light and has worked wonders because of the curve.Imoved the single bar in front of the shower to over the washer and dryer and the double bar to above the shower.I have placed the heavy duty clear liner on the most inside bar and the decorative curtain on the outer bar.This allows me to close the clear liner, keep the decorative pulled back so I can keep my baby in the bathroom with me and he can still see me.Above the washer and dryer, I was able to hang at the furthest point out, and because of the curve it allows the curtains to gently cover the washer and dryer without looking like we are trying to hide something!Please note that Zenith is the best!Other curved rods do not extend as far as this brand.the other brands are also not near as durable.I have small children that for some unknown reason decided to swing on the curtains and all was well, however I do not encourage those actions.The only thing I do wish is for Zenith to readily stock other finishes as I would have rathered a darker finish!All in all, I say yes to this great invention!
