I am using this in a window that I didn't want to mar with attaching a rod with nails or screws. I was concerned that the pressure rod wouldn't hold up under use, but it is doing well. I do have a light weight curtain on the rod, but I do move the curtain daily and the rod is staying up. I will be getting more of these.

I got it to put in the backseat using the hand things at the top of the door to support it.The ends fell off somewhere, never found them.The bar was too thin for my purposes.It was what I wanted but maybe I didn't order what I needed.

The spring doesn't work, when you compress it from both ends, it just collapses to its smallest width. It's made form very thin metal. The ends are very small. the rod is only about 3/8" diameter.

I was a little surprised when I received this as the rod was not as thick as I had thought it would be. HOWEVER, I have it adjusted out the full length with a heavy set of tiers on it and it hadn't budged. The rubber feet on the ends grip really well.
