This is exactly as expected, it was relatively easy to install, but did use two people, probably obtainable with one, but certainly easier with two.It flips easily now and the little flippy handle is not necessary, it's easy to grab the bar and flip it.The best tip that I can say is get shower curtain hooks that go all around the bar since if they are just hooks on one side, then some of them will probably fall off when you flip the bar one way or the other.

My apartment was built in the 1930s, and I have the original cement tub awesomely deep, but narrower than many modern ones. The shower is over it, so a curved shower rail definitely helps it feel less claustrophobic. The problem was that to dry the curtain after a shower, I leave it extended, and that infringed on the rest of the small space. Also, I wanted to be able to drip-dry items over the tub. This shower rail nicely solved those problems and it's not as expensive as other revolving shower rods I've seen. The rod that came with it was too short for my tub (also longer than modern tubs) but with a bit of ingenuity I was able to attach the couplings to the expandable curved shower rail that I already had, and it all worked out fine. My only (small) complaint is that the cups that go over the wall attachments are a little cheap-looking compared to my old shower rail, but only if you look closely!

This revolving, or reversible/swing-able, shower curtain rail is exactly what my wife and I wanted for our remodeled bathroom. We had a (fixed) curved shower curtain rod previously, and although it provided the extra space needed when you're in the shower, it intruded into the space outside the tub where the toilet is. The versatility of this rod solves the problem. We can now even hang delicate clothing, including swimwear, which are better air dried than in a dryer's heat. Any drips will now go directly into the tub. It was very easy to install, although an extra hand would help. We did it in less than 20 minutes, but make sure you read the instructions thoroughly and understand the mechanics of the swivel joints before you begin. The highly polished chrome finish matches well with other accessories in the bathroom. Recommended.
