We have a claw foot bathtub and a very strange shower curtain rod situation, so this was perfect. There is a window right behind the tub, so this was opaque enough for privacy as well. We don't even need a curtain to go over the liner. The metal gromits provide a lot of support so the curtain won't rip. And the best part? The PRICE. I only have myself to blame for this mistake, but I bought this curtain thinking it would be "long" as in long from left to right.Turns out "long" means long up to down.Oops.Anyway, it's a decent shower curtain, crystal clear and thick with metal grommets.If your ceilings are of normal height like mine are and this curtain proves too long (remember, up to down!) then you can do as I did and trim it with a pair of scissors.
It's so plush and thick and awesome. A great buy! Definitely worth the money and it's going to look great in my new bathroom.

This is a very heavy duty curtain, which I love because it stays where it's supposed to without magnets.When it starts to get cloudy from the soap, I just put the whole thing in the washer with a couple tablespoons of laundry soap.It comes out like new.It will be very wrinkled, but after hanging for a day all the wrinkles disappear and it really looks like a new curtain.
This is a heavy duty stall liner,fits like a glove.It is clear so that our light can shine though,which is nice beacuse our basement shower is a little dark.This is easy to clean, wash with soap and water (by hand).The eyelets are heavy as well,can hold up to my husbands rough handling.Will buy a few more, just to have on hand.It is nice not to have a liner that clings to you while you try to wash your self.

Put this in the bathroom and after about an hour I had to move the curtain to the deck outside.It stinks and needs a few days outside to let the vinyl off gas. My advice to future buyers is to open it up outside and leave it in a garage or some other exterior location.

I'm extremely pleased with this black and gray stripe fabric shower curtain. Judging from the photograph, I thought that the chevron striping was sewn into the fabric. It is not. The texture is printed and the fabric is as smooth as silk. Also from the photo, the curtain appears to be opaque, but when back lit by a window above the shower, the light shows through and highlights the chevron stripes...a very nice effect. With a price less than what was available in the box stores, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I never thought I would be writing a review about a shower liner but this one deserves much credit. I had a flimsy shower liner I picked up from the bulls eye major store for over $10. That shower liner was so thin that when you turned on the water it flew into you and you could not get it to stay away (the thin liner). It (old shower liner) had the suction cups even but if it is too light it does not matter, it is going to blow all around. I was on the search for a clear one that would actually stay in place. I ordered the clear one a few months back and immediately upon receiving it noticed the weight of the liner. It is heavy but not too heavy. Heavy enough to stay in place! I noticed it did not have the suction cups at the bottom and usually prefer those. However in this case the liner is heavy enough the suction cups are not needed. The liner stays in place the whole time! After buying it at regular price I noticed it was a lightening deal special a few weeks later and picked another one up when it is time to change it. It does hold true to its word, no mildew! Mine has a little soap built up on it but I still use bar soap. I rinse it with a detachable shower head when done showering but there is still some soap scum on it but not too bad. Having the detachable shower head I have cleaned it with shower cleaner by spraying cleanser on it and them coming back over with the detachable shower head. It removes some of the soap scum but not all. I think it is the bar soap I am using, you might not encounter this problem.I have bought clear shower liners for years and have to say this is the best one. I am glad I have a back up even though I don't anticipate having to replace the one I am using right now.For the same price you can go to a local well known store and get a liner that is really flimsy or spend the same amount for a well constructed and heavy weight one that actually works! Buying two of these I will never buy another cheap brand again. This is the brand for me.

I was disappointed not to be able to use these curtains, because they do look beautiful. Unfortunatly, they have a very strong chemical odor,(I'm guessing maybe from a fire retardant coating). Also, when they say its preferable that you dry clean these,they meant it-I tried soaking these and washing them on gentle to remove the odor and they shrunk several inches, to the point where they look rather ridiculous hung up. All but one of the hooks were in good shape. The one had a glue failure so I'm going to have to dig out the old glue and hot glue it back together. Not real happy about that, but it's pretty much to be expected when we get lots of stuff made overseas.
