This rod is much harder to install than the video on Moen's website would lead you to believe.I may not be the finest home DIY person, but this was not a good time.Additionally, I was disappointed to discover that the flanges on each end (used to attach the rod to the walls) are made of cheap plastic.Given that "Creative Specialists" and the Inspiration line are supposed to be Moen's upscale line, they should have used metal flanges.If you are not attaching the rod to sheetrock, be forewarned the installation kit does not include the pieces you need for tile (another trip to Lowe's) or into studs.They could have thrown in a couple of wood screws.One last note: the rods with the "DN" prefix are the retail version.The rods which have part numbers beginning with "CRS" are contactor grade.The retail DN models use a better grade of metal than the lower cost contractor's version.

It looks great and is reasonably well made (except for the cheapo flanges), but have someone else do the installation.

This curved rod is perfect for older or odd-sized bathtubs/showers that don't fit the modern standards.Many rods like this are not adjustable, and that was the main selling point for my shower.From outside the tub, I never notice the curved rod, but from inside, it's like having a newly remodeled shower with the all the extra room.

Easy to install. I like this better than another curved rod I have in a 5 ft bathtub/shower. This rod has round ends with round covers that hide the mounting hardware. There are no straight edges on the mounting hardware that need to be straight to look nice.

This Old World Bronze color is a perfect match with my Moen Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures. It feels sturdy and my contractor also had no problems installing it. Since it is an adjustable rod, there is a rubber/plastic ring that tries to cover the seam in the rod. However, this ring is not flush with the rest of the rod and thus causes a catch in the shower curtain rings whenever we open/close the curtain. Had I known about this issue, I would have bought a non-adjustable rod to avoid the seam.
