The curtain I purchased was slightly less thick than the previous mildew resistant curtain that I had purchased. I did not, however , find that to be a problem in over-all quality.The curtain did have an additional interesting feature.There were four sets of suctuion holes at the top and bottom of each end of the curtain, which could be attached to keep the shower water inside the tub.Great for shower dancers that spray throughout the bathroom.

Well maybe I am actually expecting "no" mildew and that is why I can't give it five stars.This curtain is really strong, does not rip, the grommets stay intact, etc.However, with 2 teenage boys using this there is no such thing as "no" mildew.I have put it into the cold wash and line dried it.I have also scrubbed some spots with Simple Green.It holds up well, but again, there is some mildew if you rely on teenage boys to take care of it.This is the third one I have purchased.I usually get one per year.

This shower curtain lasted us almost a year with very little mildew.It was thicker and more opaque than other shower curtains which was a plus for me.It's advertised as clear, but there is a very slight texture to the material which makes it not quite clear.I think the texture is part of the anti-mildew effect, since I have seen the smae texture on other, more expensive anti-mildew curtains. The grommets were of good quality and never ripped or tore.

I am a very lazy housekeeper.I wash the tile surfaces of my shower, but rarely (if ever) wash the curtain.After about 5 months of this treatment, mold began to appear in the folds of the curtain.Since my shower is not very long, there were many folds.I would occasionally spray a bleach solution on the mildew and that solved the problem for a few months.I had to replace the curtain after using it for 11 months.
