This double curtain rod was exactly what we needed in terms of length, but when extended to the length we needed and with lightweight curtains (not quite sheer, but not sail cloth) it still sagged in the middle.The inside line where we have the sheers didn't sag at all, but to fix it we had to buy a support arm for the center.I wouldn't necessarily buy it again, but only because I would want something more solid.It does what it needs to for now.

I was looking for cheap rods and ended up buying these based on some of the good reviews. But the pain it has caused me is much more than anyone can imagine.

Cons:

1. No instructions available with the product to fix them.

2. If you get the instructions it is really painful to actually screw the rods into the wall.

3. If you end up fixing the rods somehow with lot of persistance and determination you need to remember that the rods bend with the slightest weight.

4. I had to retwist the rods multiple times so that they maintain their shape.

5. The rods remain on the wall on a small hook provided. This can wall anyminute.

So if you plan to sit or sleep anywhere near/under the placement of the curtains Beware. May fall on your head anytime.

6. After all this it is a pain to ship this back so you will end up throwing it and buying a new expensive set of rod which you whould have done in the first place.

I wish I had read the other reviews before I ordered this. These rails totally buckled under the weight of my sheer curtains. This is really disappointing because I didn't want to spend money on rods.
