this shower rod twisted out fine (though slowly)and then just twisted to lock into place.I did it myself and was very pleased with the color and the strength.I have tugged on it and seems it will hold up great even when my husband throws a towel over it!I kept the label on when I put it up at first becasue other review made me wary, but I love it and now need to buy some matching oil rubbed hooks as mine are silver.
This may say it will adjust to 72", but there is no way to get it to stay put.Complete junk.Pay $10 more and get the ex-up adjustable tension rod.

What can I say...its a shower rod. It is still in place and hasnt fallen down, so thats a bonus.This shower rod is great. With the ability to increase the length, makes it work in any shower stall. It was the perfect color too!:)
