The curtains arrived in the mail yesterday and they are beautiful! The fabric is soft and smooth and drapes beautifully, the grommets at the top add a stylish touch, and this morning when the sun came up no light peeked through at all! I just ordered 2 more sets for another room -I highly recommend these curtains.

Bought these in our last bedroom still missing much-needed blackout curtains and WOW.Wish I'd gotten them sooner!Our previous ones were custom size from JC Penney, but those were a bit ugly, very stiff, and only blocked out 50-60% of light.These were easily 1/3 the price, are a lot more drapey and attractive, and block out most of the light!We're getting additional sets to replace our pricier (but inferior) existing curtains.GREAT product at an amazingly cheap price!

After an extensive (and highly frustrating) search throughout Target and Bed Bath and Beyond, I finally decided to just wait and get well-reviewed curtains from Amazon. It was well worth the wait. I have two sets of these in my bedroom in grey. They look greatfeels and looks almost like silk and are a lighter grey/blue color during the day and darker at night. They even come with tiebacks which you don't really need because the curtains are heavy enough by themselves they can stay open on their own. The best part is they actually do block out a lot of light and heat. There used to be a street lamp that shone right into my room at night and that light is completely blocked out by the curtains. I'm also able to sleep past 6 AM now since the curtains block out the morning light (my room faces east and south). It also stays cool and dark in my room when I draw the blinds during the hot day. Would highly recommend these.

These curtains are the real deal as far as blocking out light is concerned. I placed them in a sleeping room that gets afternoon sun and the difference was remarkable. You can see the sunlight barely silhouetted through them.

The grommet tops are nice quality and easily fit over my 1" curtain rod with room to spare. I bought the olive color and am pleased with it. I would say it is close to a OD green color leaning towards the darker end of that shade. Same color on both sides by the way. I need to either wash them or steam them to get the packaged wrinkles out.

Only thing I would change is perhaps offer more colors or some non solids. The tiebacks are same color as the curtain with white loop/cords if anyone was wondering.

Bardwil Evolution Shower Curtain

Most shower curtains on the market these days have some anti-mildew agents in them.This one never claims to, which is wise-because you'll find that although it looks lovely in the bath, it requires a good washing at least every two weeks if you take a daily shower.I was very pleased with the appearance of this shower curtain and it has held up over time, but I do have to wash and bleach it regularly to keep the mildew smell and stains from creeping around the edges.

Works great. Does get mildewy if you don't wash it every other month... but its so easy to throw in a wash with bed sheets or pillow cases. Its WELL worth it!

Save money in the long run and feel good that you are using recycled plastic bottles while doing it : )

ALSO To those that it may concern

Honestly I'd rather be responsible for keeping it clean then trusting a chemical (or poison) you find in most curtains to kill mildew

When it comes to somethingthat retards mildew growth I'd prefer it not touching me or my family members when things are steamy because that is a time when its most likely to absorb into you.

I bought two 12-packs of these hooks in white from another retailer ($2.99/pack and free shipping) and found them to be exactly what I was looking for.They are used on a shower curtain hoop, like those used for clawfoot, standalone, or (in my case) otherwise non-standard sized tubs.Since we use this tub primarily for bathing the kids, I wanted something that would be easy on/off for those times guests visit.These fit the bill.They go on and off easily without the hassle of having to lock/unlock the rings, and we haven't had any issues (according to our recent and frequent guests) with the rings coming off.I also haven't felt like the rings were at all close to breaking when putting them on/taking them off, as the first reviewer did.I can only assume that 1) his shower rod is much thicker than mine or 2) the rings are sturdier now than they were 2 years ago.

Bottom line these rings are as advertised and I am completely satisfied with the product.Feel free to check out the "other retailer", whose initials are the same as those of the Better Business Bureau, if you can live with white or clear hooks.

Artecnica Until Dawn Curtain White

I received my curtain in lime color, and it's just beautiful, goes perfect with my decor. But essentially it's made of thick paper, like a card stock, and tears relatively easily, so if you have any animals or little children, this would be ruined in no time. I'd recommend hanging it in a place where there isn't too much foot traffic.

FOLLOW UP (April 2, 2008): OK, I've had this curtain for couple of years now. It's still gorgeous, but it's been hanging from a metal rod and by now the shape is distorted a bit, it's not straight/flat any more, it curved in places and the edges are bent up. I have no children or pets and nobody's been touching the curtain, it just took its own shape. I've tried many times to bend it back into its original straight line, but it doesn't work. The curtain is made out of tyvek, the same material some of the envelopes are made of, you know those that don't tear, usually express or larger size envelopes. I still highly recommend this!

I first saw the Until Dawn curtain at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It's really eye-catching up close. The curtain is made of Tyvek, the same stuff the big U.S. Postal Service envelopes are made of, so it's actually more durable than paper, but you don't want to put it in a high-traffic area. (I can see dogs, cats and kids shredding or staining it pretty quickly.) Think of it as a giant piece of hanging art -because that's really what it is, though you can use it as a room divider, window panel or even a shower curtain (with a liner, of course). My curtain, which I use to separate my dining area and den, is white on both sides, so it goes with the decor in both rooms. The laser-cut design is just a great visual element and it has a lot of impact.

When my wife ordered this for our guest bathroom, along with a new inner and outer shower curtain, I raised my eyebrow at it, and was skeptical about whether the rod would rotate into the shower when not in use, and then rotate outside when our guests were showering. Although the wall fittings are mostly plastic, they seem made of a good grade of plastic and installed easity -requiring a marking pencil and a drill -the job was done in less than 10 minutes by two people (because the rod needs to be supported -if you dropped it, I think it would probably destroy or damage one of the plastic brackets), including measuring twice and drilling once. After the installation, the action was positive and stayed in place when it rotated to the other position.

Expensive item, nice rod with white end cap but Rotator Rod is not well-designed and strong enough to hold the rod up with curtain on. When I put curtain on, it slowly moves down because Rotator Rod does not lock into position as it described. To fix it, I must use plumber seal to seal it up permanently and gave up the rotation feature (does not work for me anyway!). I should not buy it if I know that Rotator Rod made of plastic and a losing the postion lock! In the future, I will consider "Walmart's Canopy Curved Hotel Shower Rod, Chrome" cheaper and better.
