This was just what I was looking for an easy to install, basic shower curtain rod!Arrived quickly, well packaged, I put it up myself in a few minutes with no tools (and I'm not a handy person...); it seems very sturdy and the price was right highly recommend!

I installed this to replace a cheap, though effective, tension rod that I'd had for years because it was starting to look shoddy.I put this one up the evening that it arrived, and it worked fine until the next morning when I hung my towel on it and it came down.I put it back up with just a little more force to hopefully keep it in place and then it broke.The problems were that the end caps did not stick very well to the tile (they tended to slip) and then that the bolt-like mechanism inside the rod that carries the torsion load is made of cheap plastic.I didn't return it because I live in Canada and have to cross the border to ship things back, and it just didn't seem worth the trouble.Bought a nicer looking one at Home Depot, on sale for $30.

I have been using this since July, it is now November and the rod just broke. It lost its tension and when my husband took it down to see what was wrong we saw that the screw inside cracked in half.It's no surprise since the screw is made of plastic! Very disappointed, and amazon won't let me return or replace with a new one because the return window has expired. Do not buy this product!

This is just what we were looking for, for the right price. It's really very simple to install just place and unscrew for longer length until it's secure. Looks excellent and goes with any color scheme so I don't have to worry about changing it out. And for one I can take with me when I move out, it's very strong and sturdy. When we moved in here the shower rod was broken and we simply couldn't wait for the landlord to replace it, so I love knowing this can come with me to the next place, and it was way easier to install than a permanenet one anyhow. I might get more of these as curtain rods, too.

I'm using this in my laundry corner in my garage because its much cheaper than any of the other solutions that I found, easier too. I have it installed at its full length and it is staying put on the wall even when there is a weekend's worth of clean shirts and sweaters hanging on it.
