These curtain rods are flimsy.If you adjust them to fit the window, they fall down.If you adjust them so they don't fall, the rod bows.Next time I'll get the flat tension rods.Their construction makes them sturdier.

The rod diameter is less than a dime size, delicate. There is a slid in the metal, not completely enclosed as it appears on web pic, from top to bottom of rod. Not worth more than $2. Unless you have no other way of getting one this size, I would skip this.

I bought this to hang a curtain in a door-less doorway. The curtain was not very light so I was happy to see the rod working. I've had it for almost a year and it still works. It fell down a few times but it was easy to put it back up and tighten up the tension so it wouldn't happen again. For the price I'd say you can't go wrong with this.

Under the valances on my grand-daughters windows I wanted plain cheap cafe rods to hold up sheers. You can't find plain cheap cafe rods online, everybody's selling fancy more expensive rods and elaborate finials, grand and elegant. I found these tension curtain rods, ordered them, and they arrived quickly. I had to explain to brother and son-in-law that nails, hammers or other tools wouldn't be necessary, these are tension rods. It wasn't until s-i-l was actually putting them up that he took my word for it, but then he said they wouldn't fit or go. It was too simple!He did what I said which was to set it right in a space and that was that.They've been perfect!
