I've had the screw-on type rod, then replaced it with a telescopic one, then I found this. This has got the screws for no worry installation, and they are covered by the decorative white piece. It looks like ceramic but it is in fact plastic. I've deducted a star for that. I've had this rod for 10 months and I don't see any signs of rusting/oxidation. Great deal!

I thought it'd match the ceramic white on my other bathroom fixtures but the white is kind of cheap looking plastic. Hardly "upscale-look end caps".
